Mama Use To Say is a treasure of a cut from Junior because it captures the moment of the 80s and a story that transcends time between Black bits and their mothers. Equally important is Too Late, which highlights the pressures that lead to DV, toxic relationships, and overcoming it all. The tracks are unforgettable.
Thank you junior. Your voice is angelic. Your music was an inspiration for a little kid in Englewood, New Jersey. back in the 80's. You've touched so many people all over the world! God bless you!
Yeah! That's what I'm talking about. Simply, talking to legends who made good music like Junior! Most music listeners favorite is, "Mama used to say", but my favorite I love most is, "Too late". One of all time 'baddest' songs ever!👍 Cal
"Mama Used To Say" came out in '81 when I was 12 and it was a huge record in New York City. Every street jam, every house party and every rollerskating rink was playing it every hour. I loved it. I'm going to be 55 next month and it's still one of my all-time favorite jams. I'm embarrassed to say I didn't realize he was from the UK until watching this video! He seems like a really beautiful human! ❤
The intro if that was a song on its own it would be up there , then there is the track if anyone wrote that it would be ,I’ve done my work I can rest . The man is a legend for what he’s been through and still going.
It "came' to me as a kid in the 80's ; "This song will still sound Cool in the Future !" Junior, did Ellen Degeneres give you your money for teaching her the moves you do in the original "Mama Used to Say" video ?
