The Cut is a barbershop reasoning/conversation that is aired on CVM TV on Mondays at 8pm. Here is where we discuss the topics from a unique perspective. The Cut is hosted by Wayne Mitchell from the Meet The Mitchells RU-vid channel.
Yes he is!! I remember growing up listening to him. I have always wondered whatever happened to him. And now he is on the cut with Mr. Marshall himself. Wow! 😊❤
Wayne nuff a them a say you don't deserve OD ❤😅but guess what the might Stone Love not calling them. Wayne you a one youth way bridge a big gap between uptown and the Garrison. Mtm for life ❤🎉
What a fantastic episode! This is awesome Wayne!! I hope you are reading the comments and know that this fills a NECESSARY space for those of us watching, and viewership will only increase. Thank you for bringing these conversations to life in a space where they can be enjoyed by everyone. I can’t wait for the next one!! This is most definitely your calling brother!! 👏🏾🎊
What is most impressive about these stories you hear this ALOT about Stonelove and Weepow from many artists about how well Weepow treated them, and help boost their careers. Weepow seems to be a man of integrity that treat people well. I’m sure not everybody loves Weepow and Stonelove but you hear most of these stories than you hear negative things
Love this interview. I learned something new. Glad to see Junior Tucker on screen, first time me a see him on screen interview sinced the 90's. Respect to Fada Pow. Respect to Wayne for hosting this interview. Me a noticed say no Barber in the Shop, a wa gwaaan? ...lol 😅
Wow am not Jamaican but am Caribbean 🇰🇳🇻🇮 I so appreciate the conversation on this platform I feel like am learning so much continue with the awesome content Wayne blessing!!
I was so elated to stumble on the Cut. Junior, you represent the love of God very well. Keep in the lane that God has placed you. We keep you hailed up in prayers. Waynie B's sister Angella. RTTWC

Wow! Wayne this show is epic!!!! Watching from Canada 🇨🇦 Stone Love is my favourite sound and I grew up listening to Junior Tucker. Thank God he answered the call of the Lord 🙏I pray continuous blessings for you Wayne 🙏
Junor, this is Christopher. Remember you and I usually walk from Maxfield Primery to catch the bus every day. Nice to see how you have developed in music and personally
Love the interview. Been listening to Junior for years and been to countless Stone Love dances in the pass. Junior's brother Marlon, played cricket at the time with my brother Clive.
Thank you Wayne and team for not having the barber on the show today. The barber is a handsome man and I am positive he has a kind heart and soul but it was such a distraction. This episode was epic. I kept hoping he wasnt going to come on and be a distraction. Thank you Junior for sharing your storey about your father. God Bless. Wee Pow, time to go to Church😊
Wayne this is how one move from one profession to another. Listen we need S2. Love it. Junior Tucker testimony bless my soul so much. Where else can I go but to the Lord because his Grace is sufficient to keep. The prayer . I hope Wayne and Wee pow go and visit Pastor Tucker church and visa versa. Going over Family Word and Worship now!
Wayne, this was lovely. So many interesting topics! As to asking how many children a sound man has, and he truly answers HE DOESN'T KNOW! One has to have the utmost respect for that honesty. True talk, for keeping it real!
Grew up hearing about Stone Love but never knew the face behind it. My father also from Manchester had a sound system name Aquadine. I think he also had another name for it before this one. They were always changing the names when the crowd did not come. Lol I am sure Mr Wee Pow would know him as well. It was really great seeing Junior Tucker also whom I have not seen for decades and to hear a lot of history in just one show. It is amazing. Great Job Wayne!
But back then in the 90s then stone love was play out they put out poster that had their picture of Rory and Fatther Pow and crew so when u said you never knwo the face behind it, I it a bit weird, but I also understand most persons might just hear the name stone love and that about it ..
Wow this segment was mind boggling....it entertaining, it enlightening, it funny, it sad, it was truly a learning experience, thanks Junior, Wee Pow and Wayne. So sorry Junior on the passing of your lovely daughter, may her soul rest in heaven. Please tell Trudy hello for me...a long time family friend from Chandos Place....
I love the fact that Mr Junior Tucker said even though he's a Christian he dont see him self leaving reggae music.. He is the same artist the message only change.. When Artist turn Christian they always say they leave reggae music... Much respet Mr Tucker....
Thank you for this episode it was very informative… I love music and this segment sent me to do a lot of research and to discover some vintage songs I never heard…big up yuh self Wayne …ps. I work at CopyCat
OMG, Wayne do an interview with the original Wayne Marshall from the UK, he's still singing and a really iintelligent and interesting guy, that would be a very good reasoning.
Bwoy Wayne I never knew anything could come between me & MTM but The Cut has proven me wrong! A go you go a you bed and dream bout this??? Not to mention the calibre of guests ! Omg Wayne you bingo!
Continue the great job you’re doing Wayne. I am listening from overseas and I am feeling so nostalgic! Blessings and prosperity in all your endeavors Wayne.
