what everyone has to realise is that the reason junior has the ability to do the things he does is because he has worked so hard to become that strong... it didnt happen over night. yeah he uses it to his advantage, but its still incredible the way he has worked for the muscles and for the skills of dancing. you can't say he isn't talented... the fact is these kids havent worked to be as strong as him, thats why they lose.
Great battle - Jora is a very well-rounded bboy with strong foundation, creative and well-structured threading, creative and clean power... all very clean. But of course Junior is a superhuman freeze and power machine, with lots of flavour and originality too.
I can't understand the haters who hate on Junior, the guy is sick with his moves, how he slows them down so the slow minded can keep up, u don't see many doing that. Nuff props

I think Junior is awesome..he got Polio when he was 8, but still went on to be a world class B-Boy!! You dont get to Redbull by accident, you have to earn the right!! IMO Jora got this one though... more variety, musicality, and intricacy. Nice battle... but Physicx, Pelezinho and Hong 10 really smash it!! :D
I don't get why people have on Junior so much. People always point out his reliance on strength and lack of variety, but they fail to look at how well his sets flow together. I haven't seen anyone else who flows as well as he does. (Only person I can think of at the moment that comes close is Toyz Are Us) Still, Junior is fluid as hell, and seems to defy gravity even in his footwork. I mean, someone like Physicx has similar moves, but can't make it flow together as effortlessly as Junior does.
Spectacular moves by Jora! Very unusual for a white guy let alone a white guy from Russia. He obviously learned from the best. Junior is EXTRA-ORDINARY and unique! Unlike most pro break dancers, Junior has an astonishing ability to maintain control of his upper body during movements. With the explosive international flavor Koreans now add to Break Dancing, I'm more than surprised that it hasn't surpassed the poularity of Ballroom Dancing and other popular forms of dancing.
junior worked harder as any bboy i know the reason of why his moves are so smooth and clean is that he has more muscels in the arms so he cant take better his own weight as other bboys
3 years ago i thought that junior was the best but now after years of training i can througly say that jora should won...better toprock, footwork, nice powermoves and freeze combination...junior is only handstand master...but respect to both
As a casual follower of the art, Jora is the first dude I've seen who kinda tried to challenge Junior on his own level. I'm including the people who "beat" Junior.
Junior has the best ground game with his hollowbacks and planches bar none, but he is nearly singular in his skill. I want to see some aerial moves from him, but I don't know if that is physically possible for him to push off with both feet. Oh he has polio instead of palsy I think.
Besides the fact that Jora messed up a bit on some of his sets, i PERSONALLY (please don't flame me, i'm just saying) think that Jora should've won, because Junior always does this same things over and over, and sometimes it gets boring :S Don't get me wrong Junior is still a beast.
For everyone saying Jora got robbed, watch his sets and see how many moves aren't based on that leg-through-the-loop thing. Because I'm pretty sure he didn't have any that didn't center around that.
Better toprock style by Jora, cleaner footwork by Junior, but Jora has more style with his footwork. Jora had blow ups/freezes while Junior had more power. It was pretty close in my opinion.
If Lilou had at least half the muscle that junior has he would have KILLED junior. Does anybody even realize that the ONLY thing that allows junior to do his moves are his muscles, thats all. Whereas on the other side, you got Lilou doing crazy moves using half the strength that Junior uses for his moves. Bottom line, if Lilou gained 10 pound of muscle, he would be the winner of breakdance competition for the next 5 years to come.
dude i agree with you jora should have totally won that battle its funny because junior only did 7 things during this battle not in any specific order CC's, three step, worm, planche, hang freeze, hollowback,90 for god sake the mans footwork only consists of 2 steps i have absolutely no idea how junior won this jora got robbed
Yea. Junior's only better because he's stronger, works harder, and looks good doing what he does. If he was any other bboy he wouldn't be as good as he is now.
you realy notice juniors right leg in this this vid i heard half his leg is fake coz it wasted away for whatever reason. still the guy has some seriose power and skill
