This spider was highly missed against Laurent. Junior is enriched with various vocabulary but just the music choosing thing makes huge difference in Spider's round.
Hey, that’s just the nature of a dance tournament bracket. Especially with these super long rounds. Laurent definitely wasnt full strength against Spider either but clearly outdanced him move for move.
@@krisjones4051 Spider couldn’t have beat laurent either by move or by concept or by moves or by vocabulary. But if spider could do these kind of long unique rounds at least that could be a good opponent to Laurent. Laurent straight up dominated the whole battle. Also spider's round wasn’t that good and was so short. Where here spider had good long rounds, this is what I expected from spider against lau
@@ashrafulkhan9859 This is the only top8 battle that lasted so long. Junior and Spider simply went all out here and saved nothing for next battles. It showed. Lookin at ma2t vs andrey and that one is straight up 16 minutes LOL
Maybe I don't understand spider's style but junior got the W for me. Beat killing is awesome but there has to be context and some sort of flow. But ohh well, what do I know tho lol. I'm going with junior on this one
nahh. Junior had a killer 2nd set but this battle was a spider show. He wasnt just beat killing. He had a lot of conceptuality going. He had way more dynamics - speed changes and style changes. Going from footwork focus to upper body and mixing it up unpredictably. Level difference was big here.
Junior touched every portion of the music through his whole round. But spider caught specific parts of music in a particular time and made that move and sound so significant. Where Junior's round became predictable and flat. Spider made the use of sound in variation and gave a rollercoster feeling with variation so his round wasn't flat.
Man, watching junior is like watching lau and larry at the same time in terms of skills. It was a good battle. But I would love to see junior vs laurent.
_His growth and creativity are impressive. Comparably to Les Twins, as they're the standard for a dancer on the journey to greatness, and few come close to passing that thresh-hold. Just like Rubix is a prodigy of their tutelage, Jr. is quickly becoming a very deadly dancer._ _Hope that explains the mystery. Feel free to give your professional opinion on the contrary._
Great attempt at an explanation, but nah lolz. Jun is a great dancer, but he has his own style. He's able to do a lot of the moves the twins do, if not every move, but they're length and attitudes in believing they are the best sets them apart. I hope that explains why he doesn't come close to embodying the talent of both twins combined, but I wholeheartedly agree with you if you disagree with my opinion.
Junior won that for me. Went hard from round 1 , then wasn't as strong in his last round. Spider seems to pace it, then turns it on in the final round to stick in the memory. But he got a surprise when he came up against laurent. Lau came on smoke from round 1, and is able to maintain it, getting better and equally as creative throughout the rounds. Laurent smoked him. 🚬
I honestly can't get enough of these 2 dance kings, so bravo to you both. Brilliant "mopping of the floor" by Jr. starting @ 2:28 thru 2:57. I enjoyed all of what he brought to the table. Spider, I noticed how surprised you were on your win @ 35:51; however, congrats on the victory. I just want you to always know how much I appreciate you, so keep rising up. Junior, you shined bright throughout this exchange, believe that & keep it coming. Thanks to BTM for this spectacular event and all the amazingly talented participants. Dieu vous benisse tous!
Junior had the moves and the flow but didn't bring energy. I always say this. No matter how good of a dancing move you pull, if you can't connect with your audience emotionally through creative interactions and energy exchange, you're not making much of an impact. That's where Laurent gets it. Everything Spider did here is similar to what he did with Laurent. But Laurent killed the moves, was more creative, and, most importantly, brought the ENERGY!!! While Junior's energy seemed low and made even his most brilliant moves looked bland/flat. That's what I felt gave Spider the edge in this. Otherwise, I gave Junior all rounds.
