Thank you so much Tina, I really really enjoyed watching you create these super cute pages. I love ❤❤❤❤ what you’ve put together on these pages. Hope you’re well ? Please stay safe and well too xxxx Mags ❤❤❤❤
Your daughter is going to have wonderful childhood memories of doing things with her big brothers. She’s a lucky girl in that you and your husband have instilled such great family values with your boys. Not that many teenage boys go on family walks in the rain.
I adore how this book is turning out, Tina! You are putting so much thought and love into it! It's going to be a masterpiece and will make someone very, very happy! :)
Always enjoy your videos and watching your process. I have been watching your Tidy Friday’s and making what I thought was great progress. I decided to call today, Messy Monday’s. It’s the day I seem to undo all of Friday’s work! 🤣😂. Having a blast with you Tina! Hugs and blessings, 🤗❤️🇨🇦
Hi Tina, I'm actually decoupaging two picture frames for my mum. I listen to all your videos, its like I'm crafting with someone, living alone, it's so nice to hear your voice in the background talking about things I can relate to. Thank you. Xx
Your journal is amazing! ♥️. Eclectic is my most favorite it’s so versatile and walk on the wild side adventurous lovvve it. I’m working on 5 mini boho/gypsy journal’s and making a new accordion pocket-bag to put them in. Ty Tina for all the awesome tips and sharing your wonderful journal. Stay well xoxoxo
That is so beautiful :) I was watching while working on a page in my own journal :) I love all your aged papers and the beautiful things you added to the journal in this video!!
Really loved watching you create pagers on your journal I've start one it's my first ever I've been making cards but turning more to the journal side also you given me the nudge to try for myself thank you ☺
I'm watching and working on my D&D junk journal. It's a new project, and I'm making pages for each session. I'm going for a grubby fantasy medieval-ish feeling.
I watched a Rose Lane Vintage do a secret pocket page, so I’ve been making one of those for a new journal I’m going to start. Love watching your tutorials, they’re full of wonderful ideas x
Hi Tina as always good to see you and hear your cheery voice. Love your work its going to be a beautiful journal. I purchased another one of your kits yesterday, the one with all the photos of ladies and I think some children so they'll be fun to play with. I think I'm also going to get the numbers with the nice blue colour.
I love skipping about in my journals, and never would have considered it had you not mentioned it. Makes perfect sense!! Still trying to get rid of that matchy matchy issue! Hopefully I’ll get even braver!!❤️❤️
Yes, it really makes a difference doesn't it. I think otherwise you might run out of something or whatever, and then it would have an imbalanced look. Yes the matchy matchy thing is still an issue for me also, but I am getting a bit better x
Oh that's exciting, have fun with your first ever glue book. I did my first (and only so far) one this year, I loved it. I do have a little variation on a Glue Book coming up shortly on my channel x
I tend to do the matchy matchy when I'm working on a journal, creating ephemera as I go. I really want to branch out from that. Watching you work in this journal is helping me. Yours is turning out so lovely.
Oh thank you so much. Yes it's really hard to get away from the matchy matchy thing isn't it? It kind of goes against every other aspect of life, I mean when we get dressed, we try to be matchy matchy don't we? So trying suddenly not to be is really unnatural x
Love the green fabric and of course all of your videos. I am doing the same thing with ephemera. Trying to make lots of ten whenever I learn something new.
Doing junk journal on altered book. Nearly finished. Alice in Wonderland book too to do. Need a big clear out. Can’t stop buying stuff. 😀. Love your journal and interested in pockets and inserts thank you
Love the eclectic using up bits journals they always make such interesting books and this is lovely Tina xx I’m working on an altered book thanks to your video collaborations, I’m hoping to do journal with me spreads which I haven’t done before, wish me luck lol🤣 xx
Thank you Carol. Oh that's fantastic that you are working on an altered book, they are really lovely to make aren't they? Great idea to do some journal with me spreads. Barbara from 49Dragonflies does lots of journal spreads using her prompt list if you need any inspiration, you will do a great job x
Hi Tina! Right now I’m working on an altered book junk journal style. I’ve made 3 books and they are not decorated. So I’m watching your mass making series and getting things ready to put in. 😁 I watch your tidy Friday and I’m super excited for you and how your crafting space is coming along.
love the ruffles. Times I have accidentally got the wrong colour. You are not alone lol. It's not muggy now. Wet and horrible and autumn. Amazing to think you are doing your altered book since recording this one. Have a wonderful week Tina. I'm on advent calendars. big hugs xxx
Advent calendar sound really like a fun project. I ended up having to do my autumn altered book and publish before any of this otherwise autumn would have been over, that's always the trouble with seasonal things.....lol x
I just finished an altered book. When my husband saw the Christmas journals I made for my girls he wanted one. Since he never asks for anything I have ti do it.
Hey hey :) I am working on a altered book junk journal and a October daily journal and I'm having a kinda journal block like running out of ideas for pages so I'm so glad that this video popped into my notifications
thank you so much ..Im looking so forward to the paper education ..I too experiment with papers ..Im having a tough time figuring out GSM and LB ..we have LB in the states ..I wish I could find a chart of equivilents ..:)
great tips on jumping around to create ur pages. makes a lot of sense. don’t forget to order ur victorian velvet. have thought abt just getting the bottle of reinker and adding it to old stamp pad? i’ve started buying the mini ink pads instead of the large ones. it works great for my inking needs.
I like making embellishments first and also decorating the pages back and forth and not in order. When I get down to the last pages I still can make more embellishments or stamp and stencil to not add more bulk. I will be working on a Daphne's diary journal for my next project. It is going to be real simple. Much love and stay safe ❤
You do so many wonderful projects. Yes, I think back and forth works well, that way you get the most consistency. Love to you and yours, stay safe also x
Happy Thanksgiving!! Dinner is done and dishes are done and put away. Time to have tea and put my feet up. Company has gone home (just BF) and Fall can now begin!!
Hi Tina, its been a while since I popped in last to watch, have lots of catching up to do, I just finished my first Folio, Shabby Chic with a bit of Grunge thrown in. I know what you mean re making ephemera as you ;make a journal, Am now making Extras later at night to build up my stash. Another inspirational video, tfs your talent
Thanks for the sugestions! I'm working on a Christmas junk journals, vintage kind of style. ( I'm a beginner). I'm so exited, because this Is my First Christmas journal ever....I'm practising on one smaller, and doing 3 signature One.. I hopefully Will do a good job 😅😅
I'm doing a beautiful journal for a black woman or girl. I don't see a lot of journals that girls can have that look like them! They are beautiful! They need more stuff. I've found a few digi kits, Victorian black women and men. It's pink with butterflies and roses. I can't wait to finish. I've finished one journal...very hard time focusing. But I love the craft 🥰I am in the "United" States of America. (Not too United at the present 😞) So I snuggle in bed (1:41am) and watch you!
Oh what a wonderful theme for a journal. Yes i haven't seen many kits with Victorian black men and women. It will turn out beautiful I'm sure. The world doesn't seem very united at the moment, when we probably should be. Crafting is all about just having fun, so long as you're doing that, then that's the main thing x
I’m teaching myself how to use Gimp, the open source program that does what photoshop can more or less. I’ve never really used photoshop so I’ve lots to learn. Also learning how to find public domain images. It’s quite good fun.
Oh that's fantastic Lucy, good for you. I have never heard of Gimp, I will have to have a look. Yes, some of the images out thee are fantastic, and it's surprising when you see them how many you recognise from out and about x
To refresh an ink pad, just spray it with alcohol and if necessary spread a drop of glycerine on it. To improve adhesion, you will need some gummi arabicum. As long as the foam isn't crumbling, you can always revive an ink pad!
@@shabbydabbydoodah sorry to ask another question .....just been online to Crafty Individuals . They Say that the stamps are unmounted . Do I need anything else other than a stamping block to use them .
Hi Could you please tell me where do you get those little paper cut outs. Are they ordered online and are they to be printed out yourseIf and what thickness paper. Thank you
I am agaiiin doing globes. This time I took a cheap pen sharpener (it's in the base of the globe) in hideous plastic, stripped off the map, roughed up all surfaces and painted the foot and the ring that holds the globe in a lovely rusty brown red as a base for gold ( in case you are planning to paint something in gold, do that!! The rust red base makes the gold so much richer!!!). I printed out old maps. Took me 4 days to convince my printer to at least print blue, yellow and black. Stupid thing has a dislike for red. Fussy cut the map, glued it to the plastic ball and did some colour correction and... Tadaaaahhh! I have 2 more globes... 😵
Lol, I am intrigued???? How big are your globes? Thank you for the tip about the red under the gold. I could have done with that a few days ago, as I have been using lots of gold recently x
@@shabbydabbydoodah The pen sharpener Globe is 8cm diameter, but I have done a lot of tiny 3.3cm ones. I make them now to dollhouse people. Well, that is what I do now as they have become too many. It all started with Nick the booksmith making one ...
Not crafting today...hair cut and colour. Been isolating and staying away from high risk places since March. I need my hair done desperately as it was last done in February!!! Arrrgggg! Lol. Hope you got my email. Xxx
@@shabbydabbydoodah resent it for you. I feel human again! No more white hair, caramel blonde and despite 4 hours at the hairdressers, it was worth it! Lol
