This is a great tutorial for beginners! I'll take you through making your own collage papers, art journal pages, or junk journal pages - lot's of ways to use them. I'm using a monochromatic color scheme with black, white, and yellow to keep it simple and then using some simple supplies - just papers, acrylic paint, stencils, brayer, inks, and super heavy gesso!

LOVE it. Would never consider this palette but very sophisticated. Also shows a beautiful journal doesn't have to take ages to make or overly busy 🎨✨️❤️

Thanks! Sometimes I have to let something sit for awhile. It often loses a little magic and it makes it easier to go back in and cover stuff. Sometimes I just have to take a deep breath and go in with a big blob of paint!

Ooo this looks fun. I have so many materials and empty sketchbooks ready to make things but don't know where to start. At the beginning I was thinking "whaaaat? She's making smudges"! Need to watch til the end😅 How did you sew it together?

Hi! I don’t think I ended up sewing this one. Maybe I did! Been a long time. I usually poke holes with an awl or other sharp object and then use white or brown twine.
