Hey everyone welcome back to my channel
Today I sat down and made some more specimen slides using punches and file folders
In this video I'm using some of my favourite distress inks and stamps by ‪@timholtz‬

So happy you turned the camera on Toni. These are So cool. Its because they're the 5"x2" size. Its different than the "norm" 😍👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 You've got me wanting Old Paper Ink now, dammit woman. 😂😂😂 thanks. This weekend i went to the flea market. Do I ever make a craft that I just sit back and can’t stop looking at it? ALL THE TIME…..ALMOST EVERY TIME I CRAFT! That’s why it’s so addicting!!! Like you know you’ve got it bad when the next morning when you wake up you just want to run back in your craft room and look at it again! Hi Toni, I LOVE LOVE LOVE your work & am working on making a series of specimen labels, Cards, tags etc. however as I am new to this, I don’t have a stash of ephemera, dangles or anything at all. OMG, I had no idea how much work it takes to make everything from scratch! I absolutely love it & will keep making things from your tutorials to build up my stash - but you definitely make it look so easy!!!!!

Fantastic Specimen slides Toni, I love these and can't wait to see what else you do with them. I have the die set and made file folders out of paper that I would not normally use. I put them in an index card box and filled them with die cuts I already cut, colored and assembled. I need to make the tiny labels next. Great video, love to listen to you talk about what you are doing. Yes I talk to you and the dog looks at me like I am disturbed!!

OMG! These are so adorable! I battle severe depression and haven't had any desire to do anything in about 5 years. YOU are so fun and fabulous (that's too round 😂) and these little tags ARE PERFECT, I actually placed an order! I LOVE them too! If mine suck, would you consider making some for me?!? Love these and the grungy vintage vibe is my favorite style too. A few decades ago before TH inks there was a brown ink in the same shaped ink pad called Van Dyke Brown and I edged everything in it. So much so that one year my crafting friends threw me a surprise BD party at our local scrapbook store and my cake was designed as that ink pad…true story!! 😂

Your excitement is contagious. While watching, my little grey cells have been having a meeting and determining how to achieve this look. Since I don’t have a laminator, I’m going to try window envelopes (more stacks than any one person should have). But first my friend wants to go for a walk, so I’ll bounce this off of her, even though our art is total opposite ends of the spectrum. As always, thanks for sharing.

Just normal weight printer paper I like the think stuff it glues down better looks like it's part of the project better then heavy weight paper

Of course sweetheart it'll be on your profile under community and you can post pictures with a write up and tag people's youtube account too. So when your in your RU-vid app at the bottom of the screen there should be a + click on that and you get a lot of options and there should be one that says create post, create a post and it'll upload to your community tab on your profile 🥰

@@CraftybyToni , I think the dies are pretty new by them and they don't have a lot of them. The stampset is called crawling creatures and the dieset is called creeping creatures. Not sure why they don't have the same name tho.

Love these! I have so many old file folders I need to cut so up for these. I have cut boxes of tags out of a lot of them. I need to dig out my stamps. I don’t have a good place to craft at the moment, so it’s hard all I want to do is play with paper. What I really need to do is go through all my stuff and make room so I can craft. It’s all a work in progress. Anyway, love your inspiration! TFS.
