This is my favorite type of video. I love watching the creative process and seeing how mistakes can be fixed because we all make mistakes. I am in awe of anybody who can paint and draw. Your page is gorgeous!
Doing the coffee staining as you do is so much better than having stacks of paper drying. I really like that idea. I still love the patchwork effect. It really adds a lot of interest to the journal. I'm going to do one for August and use this months prompts as I really love the idea of this way of journaling. Pretty flowers x
Hi I love the way you did your journal! So beautiful! I, too, am late to the party and would follow your style for August. Will you have August prompts? I’ll do July if there’s none.
Love making this accordion junk journal even if I’m 3-months late seeing this video in November. Your flowers are very pretty, well I will continue working on mine & let go and have fun. Thanks for sharing 🥳❣️
I really enjoyed watching your journal surgery. I was hesitant to try and make this style of journal, but think I will make a small one and see how I enjoy working in it. I like how easy it is to add and remove pages. Also that you can really lay every page pretty flat to work on. It’s a pretty fun idea.
Oh wow, love the painting, and the spread. I am a newbie to your channel, I came over from Helen Colebrook and Joie de fi, I am only picking certain prompts but find them very useful, love watching you.x
I ADORE these types of videos, watching your process and hearing you talk it out. This page is SO LOVELY, Meg!! I learn so much from your videos; adding pages and fixing your cover, coffee dying, water colors, a rip here a tear there, colored pencils, stamping - so many techniques that all came together BEAUTIFULLY! Can you tell me, are the Arteza paints you used water colors, acrylics, oils?? I've heard so many good things about their paints and the tubes would be pretty easy to store. Well, thanks again for your wonderful video and sharing your beautiful junk journal pages - so encouraging and inspiring! Blessings! Stacy ~~P.S. LOVE the pocket with the cute card hidden inside, too.
I love the addition of the pocket to your journal, and was glad that you showed your coffee painting, too. It all came together in such a beautiful way!
So lovely to watch Meg, I love these real time videos! I'm tempted to do a real time one too, so often I speed them up! I've never done coffee painting either so watching you has inspired me to try it 😍
I'm having a similar issue re capacity. I've rationed myself a bit to a prompt only using one side of a spread, for one or two prompts. I think it will work. I'm behind on posting on IG but I'm actually up to date with the prompts......for once!!!!!😁❤️👍 You're managing to stay neutral. You rock meg!!💜
Thicker, paler paper will handle and show coffee the best. But it’s worth experimenting with the papers you have and doing some text swatches to see what you like best!
