There is a real obsession with air brushing that has been going on for years now. The work on this channel is so wonderfully old school. I am trying to find examples of modelling that was beautifully done from the seventies and done without an airbrush. I do think there is much to be said for thinning paint and doing multiple coats. He dabs the paint which levels out rather than strokes of the brush. Here is the challenge: luftwaffe mottling.
Everyone has a different method , but I'd usually try to paint lighter color first...anyway, another marvelous job. Junkers ju 87 Stuka ( Sturzkampfflugzeug) is one of my favorite aircraft all the time. I bought Fujimi aircraft models, and many of its decals were bad ..I couldn't figure out how to fix old decals...so putting clear paint can cure? Thanks for the tip. Please, build and paint more German aircraft from WW 2.
In this case, I can completely recover the decals. But in my understanding, that is depended on status of each decal. I think more damaged one might be recovered by liquid decal film or something. Thank you!
