You need a converter! I have a Turbocharged 360 in a Plymouth Volare. Ran 13.16@117 with a low stall converter. Went with an FTI converter, night and day. Should be mid 11s at least now. Spend the $ You won't regret it!

No it uses the low reverse band which is a lot stronger than the one way clutch

@@RacingRamFam oh you’re right, I thought it engaged only the band and not the sprag, but it engages both! I used to work at the shop with UTawesome Marty and we probably saw 10-15 transmissions that lost reverse because the band got smoked in M1 doing launches and burnies 😬 🤣 Hold it together boys! lol

@@RacingRamFam i bet a stall converter will pick you up .5-.8 on the launch, and it will help the rest of the pass as well. You may even be able to pass up 13's and go straight for a 12 second pass. lol

Yes ram a 9.2 at 150 😳 and I have a transgo shift kit which helps shifting a lot just need to work on the tune and get a higher stall

@@RacingRamFam youtube search kilduff shifters....its a floor mounted shifter that you can slam into gear and has a lockout so you dont go int the wrong gear. For fun street driving and drag racing. He makes other kinds too that are just as bad ass

Just buy a nv3500 to try , even if it breaks after a couple weeks, it’ll get you hooked, then you can upgrade to t56 like your srt10. Do you know anyone with a srt10 manual? I’m looking myself lol

I want the t56, it has a little different gear ratios for the heavy truck , vs the car version. The nv4500 is a bad bitch, but I really don’t want the granny gear, but I would buy either one right now lol

You don't want a stick for boost. When you shift you loose your boost.

Ya auto still shifts faster than manual! And is usually easier on driveline components

@@RacingRamFam very true, whole reason I have a short throw wayyy better clutch new driveshaft and components etc. My driver mods up to par but I’m aso not trying to be the fastest, just having fun with my baby, she has hurt plenty 5.3 and small block 5.7s feelings though. Once it does get serious I plan on tko600 or t56 swap. Autos are faster but i love banging gears 🤷🏻‍♂️ no hate on autos though I’m an enthusiast not a chump lol

Honestly it’s not bad for a long wheel base 4700 pound truck , I just figured two turbos would have it high 12’s with crappy tires . I’d like to see you make it in the consecutive mid/upper 11’s . The turbos sticking out the hood on a Ram 1500 ,, oh yeah , I love it . Keep tuning it and pour the fuel to it 👍
