Juno's friend is the best of friends ever. She helps out with everything! She helped finding adoptive parents. When Juno tells her parents, she's there. Ultrasound, she's there. And when the big day came, oh yes she's there. I mean, can you get a better friend?
I loved this movie. A young girl gets in trouble, but then the love and support of her family and friends help her through her problems. The characters are all unique and interesting.
Quincy Holder yeah talulah has the resemblance of Juno, although it has more drama into it. But it wasn't a movie, it's a Netflix original series i think.
+xxoxia the last two are good ideas if you get rid of everything after but and however. no offense but your ideas are already good without adding too much to it.
one of the many things I like about this movie is that there wasnt a giant tragedy and they managed to make a good movie without having major problems. yes, finding youre pregnant is major but the protagonist just walks off like "lol ok just another thing in my life" and that really resembles her lovable character and characters were the enormous part to the movie along with some creative artistic pieces
juno's dad rocks. from begining(by picking wonderful "juno" name for his daughter with influence of mythology) till the end (by all his quotes, his passion for his job and his reactions to his daughters pregnancy stuff). And his "there is always a person who likes you just because its you are" themed speech is my favourite. And ahh of course this move is so wonderful, one of those movies that makes you feel warm right after seeing it. (p.s: juno is cute)
@@takumaflores6099well you used his correct pronouns so that’s progress LMAO. try reading his book and maybe you will get a sense of gow long it took him to get the courage or understanding to even be himself, ya fuck

She’s cultured, hilarious and well spoken for a teenager. She’s an unrealistic portrayal as much as she is kind-hearted. I’m not disagreeing with you though. Overall Juno’s character is brilliantly written. Her personality has multiple angles, and sure she’s a kid, she acts like a kid, but she also defies the “teenager” stereotypes in many ways. That’s why the film refers to her as weird and different, while simultaneously she’s experiencing a very real teenage concern/problem. Even her most immature moments she reevaluated herself and had enough maturity to take full accountability. So many beautiful moments where she realizes she was in the wrong and most of all, she makes it right. Certainly can’t say that for a lot of ADULTS let alone a teenager😆
I love this film. I was skeptical at first, but it was thought provoking. Many of us are surrounded by pregnant teens. This movie looked at it in a few new angles. There were a few good things that came out of this story. Don't be so closed minded to it. It's going to happen, and everyone deals with it differently. It's life.
The movie is brilliant. It wasn't my cup of tea the first time I watched it, but I went back later and read the script online, which prompted me to give this movie another shot. Everything from the soundtrack to the relationship dynamic of Juno and Paulie (which reminds me way too much of my own relationship with my boyfriend lol) is flawless.
This is one of those movies you just vaguely remember from your childhood, but there’s a lot of sentimental and nostalgic value in those hazy memories.
I would much rather have a movie like this, that is entertaining, learn something new about life, and plays with emotions than another one of those super hero movies.
I love this movie! I think parents could really get a good insight of how teenagers really think & behave by watching this movie!! And it also goes to show that these things don't happen to "bad" people.. Juno's character is normal.. liked her parents support throughout her pregnancy in the film!

i’ve seen this movie a million times and never forgot about this trailer. down to the very MUSIC in it. it’s one of the GREATEST trailers ever. even if you don’t think it’s the greatest movie, you can’t tell me the trailer isn’t brilliant or at least funny or endearing in the strongest ways. it makes you feel things besides just wanting to watch it. so good

@@afanoflafear We use pronouns based off appearance not genitalia. You don't make someone get naked before deciding to call them him or her. You do it solely based on looks. And yes, I'm sure what you learned in school is outdated by now. Science is always discovering new things and just because something was considered scientific fact years ago doesn't mean it is true now. If science was never changing and evolving with our growing knowledge, the earth being the center of the universe would still be considered scientific fact.
a review for this film was in my school newspaper. It looks really good, especially because it takes such a serious topic as teen pregnancy and puts into a comical perspective. And the actress who plays Juno is absolutly amazing in the role. It's hard to play so many emotional swings, and when she talks she is such a teenager... if you know what I mean. I can't wait to see it soon.
I watched this when I was a little kid, now I see the trailer and I’m like oh my god that’s Dwight and now know I know all the other characters from other movies and shows.
i'm gonna assume you're not being intentionally mean, but it's not that elliot was a "she" and now is a "he". because gender isn't an internal switch which you can turn from male to female whenever you like. elliot was always a "he" even when juno was being filmed. he just presented as a woman for a number of reasons and personal circumstances that are none of our business. it was only in 2020 that he decided that he'll no longer present as a woman and hence "came out" as a trans guy, and we should all support that :)
@rechts ist göttlich yeah sure, if you want to feel that way then go ahead. i don't care if you people feel that trans people aren't valid and that the entirety of medical, biological and sociological consensus that agrees with trans people, are wrong. you're free to feel that way, i'm not here to convince you because i'm not your teacher and if i were, i'd be taking your money for it. all i'll say is facts don't care about your feelings. you guys keep having fun with your 5th grade-level biology where "penis man, vagina woman", while the rest of the scientific community understands it's not that simple and moves past you
Jerrin it’s almost like if you cater to trans people you get $$$. Pronouns are based off chromosomes. This will end any argument for pronouns. Ellen is a she. She can be a masculine male if she wants. But chromosomes will never change. Let’s stop all of this nonsense.
@@9yrkickboxing again, you can feel strongly that chromosomes are what determine pronouns. you'll be laughed out of any respectable scientific, medical or even linguistic institution for believing that, but no one's stopping you from feeling that way. it's just that the facts don't care about your feeling
I remember this movie being awesome, great script but somehow the scene I remember the most was towards the end when Jennifer Garners character receives her adopted baby and she asks the nurse - how do i look? and the nurse replies - you look like a mom, scared shitless - maybe it was because Im around that age but I remember feeling how in her very strong desire to be a mother she was simply going to be a regular mom, she looked like one, she felt like one, it was a beautiful moment for all adopted parents in the world
this was so popular when it first came out I remember how excited I was to see it! I was staying at the Sheraton hotel in Portland oregon when it came on the TV for free! I will never forget it 💗💗 and how my best friends and I couldn't stop singing "you're a part time lover and a full time friend" 24/7 damn I miss the early 2000's
I saw this movie in health class last year. Awesome movie. I'd watch it again. I might even watch it before school restarts. I recommend this movie to anyone that wants to watch it.
I love this movie. I didn't expect much, but I watched it and it seriously made me cry.. I hope true romantic love does exist. "Full time friend and a part time lover"
Juno is just something else dude. Like literally i've cried to this so many times and i dare to say this is the best movie ever. Try to change my mind.
We were in sex-ed class back in 5th grade when this movie was out, and after the instructor said "to protect yourself or else you're going to regret it". After the session, we were allowed to ask questions so one kid decides to be stupid enough to ask "Is that what happened in Juno?" and then everyone laughed at him. Good thing that was his last year in elementary! xD
I watched this when I was 12 on a website using dial up internet connection right after it came out. Waited over a day for it to load, had to put a sticky note on the computer not to close the page. Great movie, always stuck with me, both my older brothers became dads in high school, I always thought of this movie once I reached high school and started having sex, I think it helped me not become a teen dad too
I watched this movie when I was 8, I'm 16 now and just watched the Umbrella Academy. From the first scene with Vanya I was so confused because I recognised her but had no idea from where, I'm just now realizing that Eliott Paige is Juno
I watched this movie when I was 5 and I have little snips of it in my head but I never remembered the name of this movie and I I've found it after watching 10 Celebs you never knew was gay there was a scene I recognised and was like wait that's the movie I watched when I was 5
They will now try to change her name to Elliot in all future releases of her older movies. If you are found in possession of the wrong version, to the gulag!
No one can convince me that Neil Druckman didn't literally took this character to his game. Not just the facial but even the personality are the same!!
