Join Megan Deane McKenna and Natalie Macias, Open Campus and Juntos Coordinators in Tillamook County, to learn about Juntos Afuera, a program designed to show LatinX youth that the outdoors are inclusive of their culture and identity. Learn the five core questions they asked while developing their curriculum, and the results they saw affirming the benefits of centering LatinX culture and identity first. Plus, get a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the nature journal that students used throughout the program.

Awesome! I’m Apache Native from San Carlos AZ and randomly viewed this presentation. I love and adore the program you created. I hope one day to teach and educate our native youth the way you all do. Inspiring! Keep it up!
