Great video !! Excellent job !! It looked like you were flying down that road . That e-bike was built for you Dave !! All and all you did an excellent job on putting that video together !!
I can’t thank you enough for the video! Nice job by the way! I was looking to purchase the Defiant and this was perfect for me. I admire your lifestyle. I hope to tackle this solo and your video inspired me. Thank you. 😊Best. Sabrina.
Thank you so much for watching and the kind words. If you go with the Defiant, you won’t be disappointed. I have almost 1000 miles on mine now, and it is so much fun. Have a great time, and be well.
Thanks for the post. I’ve got the Jupiter X5 and love it. When I saw that Costco was selling the Defiant I bought it! I’m 63 and retired. I ride it in state parks and busy cities. My e-bike has opened up a whole new world for me.
Thanks for watching, it pretty much pedals like a standard bike. It has 7 speeds, so plenty of range to choose from depending on your terrain or strength level. It’s a great bike, I’ve almost put 1000 miles on it so far. Be well.
Great review! Are you still liking it? What kind of range are you getting with throttle only, flat terrain-- 40 miles? Lastly, do you think the rack on back could be reinforced to carry a 2nd person for a short distance in a pinch? Thanks so much---happy trails---as a fellow camper!
Thanks for watching. The bike is great, I’m out on it almost every day. The other day I did 52 miles, but that was with some easy peddling. I do have a spare battery, so range if never a concern. As far as the rack, I would say that it can hold up to 50 pounds, but don’t think that it would make a great seat. If you get one, you won’t be disappointed. Be well.
Thank you for sharing. I just ordered it from Costco online. Not sure if it comes with the rear rack. If not, where did you get your rack. Looking forward to the first ride.
@@Hatch61 Hello sir. Would you mind my asking how much the spare battery set you back? I can't find pricing for any accessories where they sell them up here. Thanks for the video, it makes me more confident to purchase one.
Look at a video that you uploaded on youtube, that you had an electric jupiter bike that its speed was 26 mph. I bought one but I don't know how to set the maximum speed without pedaling
I’m not sure what model you have, I have the “Defiant”. All I have to do is twist the throttle in the right hand grip, and my bike will go anywhere between 0-28mph, there is nothing to set. If you have trouble, I would contact Jupiter Bikes directly.
Thanks for watching, your company makes a wonderful product, thank you. I’ve pre ordered the spare battery so I’ll be all set for my camping trips. Be well.
