My relationship to prayer has recently changed with Saturn / Jupiter themes as you describe. I began very limited beej mantras to embody being with that energy. So with the Saturnian constriction, there's been a Jupiter expansion in the potency of meaning. It brought about a complete flip of typical prayer style for me. I like it when you are just talking like you had lots to say and needed someone to listen. Being responsible with ones gifts/magic and accepting them is something I'm noticing. There's a juxtaposition of feeling punished by God/spirituality, hard lessons and learned wisdom, that can rival acceptance and integration of the same very gifts, or responsibility of transmuting them. One of the main things astrology has taught me is that the lessons cant ever look how we expect them to. We look back thinking we were supposed to find love because of a transit but didn't notice the mundane gifts like a new kitty or time with friends. I often compare it through the insights that come through therapy; we can be told we have an anger issue, people pleasing tendencies , co dependence etc, for decades by close friends and think they all must be wrong until we can see it clearly for ourselves and it feels graceful.
