You are right about truthfulness in everything we do - business, exam, court case, following rules etc. and to be frank it would bother me if I took Mercury type of step. I’m going to give you an example. In college I used to study the hardest. Most of my friends used to party and have fun. And just during last one month of the exam they used to collect preliminary exam papers of various colleges and smartly prepare based on those. Here I used to study and study and study because I thought it was the right thing to do. And guess what? They used to score same or more than me.. 😞😞😞 I knew I was not being smart still I could not give up my habit of being truthful.
We know the dirty tricks. It doesnt mean we do it. And I think this really also depends on the indivisuals involved. Jupiter in Libra is only one aspect people. Dont think this one aspect is the only thing that defines you.

I've got Jupiter, Mars, and Mercury in Libra. :) It definitely makes my communication a bit more passive than I'd like it to be though :p. I don't think I have what it takes to be cunning or "clever" in order to get my way though, I've become much more lax with LOA, as I've learned to manifest more effortlessly. Let us understand this one right, Venus is shukra, it is another guru and so is brihaspati jupiter. This analysis sounds like Saturn in Libra, so I don't understand why you would interpret this placement as negative when Jupiter merely wants fairness in negotiating contracts and other business deals.
