Police say they have found the remains believed to be that of Gretchen Anthony, just hours after her husband agreed to provide the location of the body as part of a plea deal.
My heart goes out to her daughter especially. Imagine your mom being murdered, and your remaining parent is also the one who killed her. May she be surrounded by people who help her get through this.

@@Palmetto-J I see your point, but a woman's maiden name is HER name, it's her birthright and it represents lots of ancestors beyond and before the father that murdered her. It's a shame any question ever has to come up related to someone illegally taking someone's LIFE.
I feel bad for her 12 year old daughter. Adolescence is already a very confusing & difficult time, especially for girls. They really need their mothers. May God let her rest in peace in Heaven. Btw, 38 years doesn't do him justice, but i know he'll meet his maker. May he rot in Hell.
I don't understand how the neighbor didn't call 911 when she heard Gretchen scream. She should have gone outside to listen as to where the screams was coming from. The law failed Gretchen and her family. David received a slap on the wrist. 30 something year's isn't nothing even after he's been arrested before. I pray her daughter is doing well.
Again, he’s doing 38 years because the family wanted to have her remains found. It happens often, and I can’t say that I blame them. He’s 44, will be 82 after 38 years and they have their beloved Gretchen ‘home’ so they can bury her.
I would never want that lady as my neighbor, because clearly she walks around ignoring every red flag in her path! As for the press, clearly, they have never watched any crime shows nor documentaries… The accused always comes back with, “If I tell you, what’s in it for me?” It’s called a PLEA BARGAIN people!!! 🤷🏽♀️ As for any emotion in his voice... @ Evelyn Miranda I did the same thing, I told him I'm going to be in my nephew's first communion and to let him know I'm coming back to him I even bought a round trip ticket. Never went back.
Cooperation, and revealing info, or snitching gets you a lighter sentence weirdly, & the family of Gretchen didn’t want a life sentence, i think it will be more of a struggle for him after serving the 38 years to even get back to normal life if he lives
He’ll be 82 if he serves the whole term. That is the majority of his life. But yes, I AGREE. He should’ve gotten “life w no parole”. But he’s mentally ill, so I hope (even though he did the unthinkable) they get him help. Cuz this guy just literally snapped. He was manic & having a psychotic breakdown. That is no excuse for what he did…but still, he was untreated & really needed help. Supposedly, according to his own mother, Gretchen tried to help him…but to no avail. This whole story is such a tragedy. Sending love & light to all those affected by her loss. ❤️
This story caught my eye because we have the SAME NAME and I live close to Jupiter. As a former social worker, I have seen terrible abuses of women by their partners. It is so heavy and sad. That POS will get his just desserts in prison. Those boys don't like child or spouse abusers. I think White supremacists will hook onto him. I hope they turn him out. God will extract revenge. That’s how that evil man was able to manipulate officials…he got a soft sentence in exchange for doing something he should have done at his guilty plea.
The reality is no body no crime. They would not have been able to get first degree or even second degree without a body. In fact they really had nothing on the guy. He knew it. So I can't say that it was due to brilliant police work to track down a guy in Mexico. This case makes the cops look inept.
I'm following a case from Ohio (I'Ron Cannon) where they just arrested 7 people for his murder but dont have his body. I hope one of those 7 spills details because I'm afraid the charges wont stick without his body being recovered.
Watch the police interrogation videos & you won’t think that way. They had a LOT of physical evidence…including video footage from her Blink cameras. So yes, they had a ton of physical & circumstantial evidence.
I know its easy to speak when it hasn't happen to your family member but I believe I would never make a deal with my child's killer. My child would be in heaven...i would make sure he or she gets life...she isn't in some field...she is with the Lord. That is her proper place. I would still have a funeral for her...an empty casket...
Because he would not give up where her body was without a deal. Evil, but some families would rather have their loved ones back and have to make a deal with the devil.
So sad that the neighbor who actually got the main bits of evidence was overlooked when gratitude was handed out. She collected pictures and give times of when the truck was there. Sure maybe she could have called the police department but if you are uncertain where the scream was coming from what do you report?
I wish they wouldn’t always be praising each other! Really. It gets so old. We do not gather all the doctors and nurses around etc every time a life is saved. We don’t praise ourselves and each other for doing what is expected of us. Do your job. Go home, like the rest of us.
They also don't mention how many times Gretchen reached out to them for help and they did nothing. They also released David after he attacked a police officer putting him back on the street to kill Gretchen. They also denied any foul play for 5 days after Gretchen was killed until they got proof from the camera icloud images of him killing her. Gretchen is the one that bought and installed the cameras Dec. 2019. The Jupiter police received a call saying David Anthony is the murderer less than 24 hours after he killed her and they ignored it.
This is a press conference for the police to just Pat themselves on the back for making a ridiculously light deal with the monster that killed that woman. The mother of my daughter was murdered in Camden New Jersey on December 3rd 2019. Her two killers were given a plea deal where they will only serve 21 years for murder and robbery of my daughter's mother. Its sick. We can't release these people back into society. I know that on the day that the killers of my ex-girlfriend are released from prison I will be standing there waiting for them because I vow they will never live free in society. The day they get out of prison is a day I send them for judgement before God.
The daughter was one of my friends, David was crazy and he murdered Gretchen thinking it was end of times, was mad at life, and upset about her filing for divorce.

Are people really that far removed from human compassion these days that they just count heads to make sure everything is just even stevens? You overlooked the ONLY “female” who matters in this story and THAT, to me, is sadder than any racial criticism of the makeup of that team, it speaks more to the makeup of people’s hearts. There are a LOT of “females representing” up there...sad you don’t recognize that😕.
It's obnoxious for someone to act like Trump shouldn't bring up the crime that seems to go unchecked in cities like Chicago. IT IS NOT NORMAL to go around killing each other and thinking you should get away with it just because you be livin in "the hood."
