Best machine I ever used, every 2 years I take apart and clean the grinder. You can send it for service. I had this machine for years and never disappoint me. Use medium roast as dark roast is too oily. Don't leave it on if you don't used hourly.
Hi the F9 juro machine says clean machine but don’t know how to clean it.. I was waiting for your video to demonstrate the cleaning part but there’s none.
That requires special cleaning tablets to drop in and it's automated. It's not in the video but in the Manual. If no manual, just search "jura tablet cleaning" and you'll find what to do.
How do I know how many grams of beans are ground every time I press the espresso button? How do I ensure brew time 23-28 seconds? Since I don't know the input of beans, how do I control the output? How do I calibrate in such a way that I get 1:1.5 or 1:2 ratio?
You cannot program a specific weight of grind or volume of water. For water, you start a brew and tell it when to stop and it repeats that volume until you change it again. For grind, you have 5 to 9 seconds of spin to pick depending on your choice of Mild, Regular, or Strong, and Aroma (regular or strong), and cup size. These times are fixed. From those parameters, you can dial in your ratios.
1. Turn the F9 off and let cool down for one hour. Push and hold the RINSE button until display shows EMPTY TRAY. 2. Remove and empty tray. You must remove the tray for 20 seconds even if it is empty. Replace tray. 3. AGENT IN TANK / PRESS MAINT. Dissolve three large square tablets in 16 oz. of water and pour mixture into water tank. Place a container (at least 16 oz.) under frother. 4. Push the RINSE button. MACHINE DESCALED. After a few minutes: EMPTY TRAY. Carefully remove cup and tray, empty and replace. 5. FILL WATER. Rinse water tank and fill with cold water (16 oz.) and replace. Place a container under the frother. 6. PRESS MAINT. FILL WATER. Push the RINSE button. MACHINE DESCALED. After a few minutes: EMPTY TRAY. Carefully remove cup and tray, empty and replace. 7. PRESS MAINT. Push the RINSE button. The F9 returns to SELECT PRODUCT and resets itself.
