Happened to stumble upon one of your videos yesterday and since then I’ve been binge watching it. Helping me out a lot with my anxiety since then. Appreciate all the work that goes into making the video. 👍🏻👍🏻 keep up the great work while enjoying it to the fullest. Regards all the way from India 🇮🇳
Think the only thing holding some back is crime. Well depending what country . Buuuut even here by us one should be able to do like stealth camp. I must just organise a lift
I too have been watching and now know how to light a fire, put up most types of tents, know what I would need to take on a trip and how to cook food over a fire. I'm 79 tomorrow (11th) and making a list of what to buy for starters. I will be looking to join a few others as I wouldn't feel safe on my own...safety in numbers and all that. 🤔😄🤞🏻 Anyone got any ideas about camping groups in Surrey?
Mabuhay! 🇵🇭❤️ Whenever i watch your video i have the feeling that iam also in the forest, iam always curios how europe forest differs from our forest in the Philippines. I only see in the movie, but thanks to your vlog. Thank you also for inspiring me to create countryside life content. Love from the Philippine countryside ❤️🇵🇭
Haven't seen you beach camp for quite a while, so that was nice. If you've answered this, I apologize, but do you empty the fuel from that little stove before you transport it or does it seal well enough not to worry about? I teally enjoy your videos Andy!
I've got a Trangia burner and never empty it between uses. It's got a tight fitting screw lid with a rubber washer inside. As long as you let it cool and put the lid on, it's never leaked.
I’m waiting for the day it cools a bit out here in California to get out and about myself….seeing a stream in any respect is a rarity. Great video. Thanks.
As with the 'Rest of Us', I look forward to your uploads and to following your adventures. Part of the fun is thinking about the equipment I have and where I would set up and so forth. An equal part of the fun is being able to keep up with today's equipment and how to use it. I like a bivvy bag with a foot arch as well as the pole arch at the head. That stands a good wind and keeps the fabric off of me...and allows the ventilation system to work better.
Man you still have the best video’s! I’ve been watching you for what’s it been 3 or 4 years now I remember when you had 200 or 300 hundred subscribers and a long ponytail! Lol I knew then you were one of the great ones!!! Thank you for taking us all so many trips and beautiful places too c we couldn’t have done it without you! And thank you for not changing in every way you are still so humble and ha e the same content we all fell in love with!! So thank for just being yourself!! May God bless you and keep you safe through these bad times we’re living in is my prayer!!! Amen 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Hey Andy! Came back to watch this episode again. Up late and wanted something peaceful and relaxing to watch. Could you use sea water to heat those boil in bag meals??
Having to walk like a Geisha Girl down that path couldn’t have been fun, Andy 😮 Wayfarer meals for me so far have been ok. Not had too many. Smashing trip out pal and were those seals I could hear near the end of the vid?
Great video. I was also fascinated with the food and strangely curious you say not much water left when I could SEA a couple of BILLION GALLONS behind you, I don’t know this but can you not use sea water and save the good stuff for drinking? The other thing was what was the gadget you used to blow up your mattress? Thanks for sharing this Ray K UK 🇬🇧 YNWA.
You can boil those bags in sea water Andy, I worked on fishing boats as a teen and we would make our meals up in Ziploc's and boil them in a pot of sea water to warm them up. back then you had a few bags break and spoil the food but I'm fairly certain those Wayfayrer pouches are far more durable...
Hullo Andy. Just calling in from Nz. Why oh why didn't you use the sea water to boil your meals. There was a few billion litres just in front of you. Keep your fresh water for your body. You may have had plenty of drinking water available, at the time, but you never know for sure whether you're going to need it all. Next time think about it. The seawater cant pollute your food. Take care mate. Atb from down under.
You must be a sound sleeper. I've been using ear plugs since I was 25, but probably not advisable when you're out in the wild, with lions, tigers, and bears. Or wolves and coyotes.(lol!)
No smart arse replies please......i know its sea and salty.....loads of water there mate.......but a good test for a water filter???......also think this every time you walk over that mucky stream in your regular camp spot. maybe a vid for the review channel
You're better than me! My God! If i had to use a bivy, I probably wouldn't go camping! As big as you look on screen, it seems like you would feel confined i such a small space
Hey man I enjoy your videos all the way over here in Alabama... I'm kind of new did you say you were a veteran? Just curious but looks fun would love to hang out and camp one time over in the UK. I do have one piece of advice... It might be cool for you to adopt a dog to bring on those trips, peace
GREAT VIDEO AS PER USUAL..THAT SNUGPAK BIVI LOOKED REALLY CRAMPED AND HAS CONVINCED ME TO GET THE TREKMATES DOUBLE HOOPED ONE... KEEP THEM COMING ATB NOBBY
Andy that was a great video my friend but just a suggestion why don't you go do a camp or wild camp on One of the Channel Islands that be cool to see cheers from the United States
noticed your desert it looks better than an american mre that we had in vietnam, some of that you almost lose your lunch trying to eat it, at least the food got better with time... beautiful country side..
Great vid again....i dont often ask questions but where ruff was that beach as im looking forward to a trip there soon with a rescue dog and im sure she would love that spot.
Hi Andy. Another great video where you display your great photographic skill, something I sadly lack. That panoramic vista was well framed with the sun glistening off the sea, but it was shame about the dear being too far away. As I’ve said a great video.
hmmm, this was actually my second, I assumed the first was my fault but now i reckon theres something worse a foot.. i dont have a bath so ill have to spray it down but im suspecting the valve
I think, maybe it will be more interesting if you eat with MRE Menu from different countries or maybe from your own country sir thank you, may you always be given health
Nice video Andy looks great down there some dodgy paths bet it was hell getting back to the top the snugpak stratosphere is a cracking bit of kit atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍
I camped on the beach just further down last Autumn. The cliffs are a bit worrying along parts of there. Are the ghost cruise ships still there? They must have gone now. Looked like another relaxing one 👍🇬🇧😄
