Great thrift store toy hunt video, as always. Too bad that hummer is incomplete. Very cool pick ups there, especially the Lost World Jurassic Park vehicles. I hope you will find the Castle Grayskull soon. Have a great weekend 80sToysRoc family! I had fun today!
I had fun watching the video Burf! Great Jurassic Park retro toys haul and final faction comic book and display and robosaipen! Glad I'm subscribed to the channel! Thanks for sharing!
Wow, crazy you found all those Lost World Jurassic Park cars during the release of the new Jurassic World Dominion movie, pretty awesome! That RV is the Lost World Jurassic Park Mobile Command Center. The front end has some radar or antenna on the roof with a "dino damage" gimmick and the trailer has like a lab inside that opens up on the side of it to have your figures operate on a little dinosaur haha. There is also a compound fence to set up around it as well. The car is the Lost World Jurassic Park Ground Tracker. It also has a "Dino Damage" gimmick for the hood when a dino rams the yellow winch button on the bumper the hoods pops off. It can fit like three action figures and has a lift canon that shoots a missle haha. Great finds Burf! 🦖🦕
I love how Goodwills & other thrift stores can be good places to find retro stuff, but at the same time, idk, also a lot of broken or incomplete stuff at those places.
Oh for sure, but that’s part of the fun for me. (Finding something that’s incomplete and then piecing it back together) I’ve found action figures that if they were complete sell for $100, but I found them incomplete for $1.99…and then bought parts on eBay for $30 to complete them. So I ended up with $100 action figure for $31.99. That’s why I love hunting vintage toys in thrift stores so much. I found a Primal Age Batcave Castle Playset (think Castle GraySkull but for Batman) for $4.99 at Thrift Giant. It was just the castle, no accessories. I picked up the accessories on eBay for $25. So my total cost for the BatCave was $29.99 That BatCave recently sold on December 31st for $149.99 on eBay. They typically sell for between $80-$150
Long ago I used to own that Jurassic Park Jeep with the winch bumper where you crashed it and the hood would pop off. Coolest part was the functional offroad lights where I would explore under the dark couch. It was a great Christmas present I got a very long time ago
Bro, I was going to do a lot of yard work tomorrow, but watching your channel I'm going to the thrift stores, which is about 60 miles away since I live in a semi rural area, watching your channel gets me motivated to get some vintage toys lol, but it's been about 3 weeks since I last went so I be waited long enough lol
Well, I did some toy hunting today, it's the first time I bought playsets, 2012 Gotham city jail playset, 2015 batman playset, 2016 daily planet playset, 2016 spiderman playset, 2008 green lantern playset, and a rare according to eBay 2014 superfriends hall of doom, got each of the sets for about 4 bucks each, and lastly a 2012 TMNT shellraiser for about 5 bucks
He is cool! I actually just found a 2006 RS Media, Programmable Robosapien that stands 25” tall and has a remote control. I got him for $18.18 at Goodwill and he recently sold on eBay for $500!!!
Someone who is a Star Trek fan I definitely was giving that DVD Box Set the eye. Price is no option when it comes to my interest. Another awesome video my Friend live long and prosper 🖖😎 I'm thinking about checking out my own Goodwill Store. I just might find me some Star Trek goodies. 😎
Ok, final faction, dollar to dollar twenty five cent figures vehicles and upgrade kits, have a cartoon you can watch for free and a comic series thats priced like it's 1995. Dollar tree is becoming a nerds haven. How are the comics compared to say gi joe and the like
I comment on a lot of your videos, mainly for clarification and information ( and congrats on unique finds), so in keeping with that, I am curious: #1. How do you find and play the original TV ads for some of the toys you purchase (ie G. I. Joe Snow Cat)? and 2. How do you obtain the rights to show these ads and copyrighted materials?
I know this video is from a while ago but i would of 100% picked up those legos. Loose parts/not sealed sets are hard to sell. But the big money is in the minifigures. As long as they are branded like Star Wars and Marvel etc. I could make out a yoda minifigure, thats about an 8 to 10 dollar fig right there. So you know there was Star Wars in that bin and i bet there was a lot more. Minifigures are small and easy to ship and sell fast. I bought a similar bin of lego off marketplace for $30, i only could make out 2 minifigures from the pic. A scooby doo probably $5 and a Marvel fig that was about $10. Ended up pulling 50 minifigures from that tote and sold them all for over $600. There was a count Dooku star wars fig that was $50 alone. And even if you dont find a bunch of minifigures you could easily resell the bin of spare parts for your money back. But seeing that yoda, i have a feeling that bin would of been a gold mine.
I would add that to a shelf with her and start these pirate ships pirates of the Caribbean collection because I think those ships are pretty cool if I were find them I totally start a collection pirates of the Caribbean's pirate ships
@@80sToysRoc def find the best pieces first, compare what sets come with what part like if you have parts of a knights battering ram you could have a set, Google image search will help. At minimum I'd try to part that box out to around $130. It's time consuming but you are sitting and playing with Legos so it's still a win. Also a free time after you break even, then let the spare parts sit and do it again next time you see a deal like that. Over a couple days time I have made like 300ish doing that
Well, if my inner most dominant thought becomes my outermost tangible reality, then Jeff Goldbloom would have called me for a date by now. Sooo... Hmm. HAHAHA!
I will Geroge! I’ll do it in an upcoming video. It might not be the next one because I’ve got a bunch of pre recorded videos to release first, but I’ll make sure to shout you out soon
