That's literally above all else what makes this film great and world series and even 3 crap. These ARENT monsters they're real life animals in the wrong place, the wrong time. Fish out of water. Now the "dinosaurs" are straight up mini godzilla monsters blowing up helicopters n shit that's like Fast and Furious without Vin Diesel
Even the original Jurassic World worked to maintain the animal aspect. Owen trained his raptors and treated them like family. He reminded Claire that they cant be controlled. The I-Rex's character was developed during the paddock inspection scene when Owen spoke of how it was mentally harmed from being in isolation with no knowledge of the outside world or how to form relationships.
Took me years to understand why he tossed his raptor claw… that was his connection to the past he was clinging to… whereas learning to love kids was the future he needed to embrace.
This is by far my favorite scene in the movie there’s something so beautiful and like almost romantic about the way the brachiosaurs sing it just makes my heart squinch up every time and the way Grant learns to embrace children and evolve with the rest of the world is excellent and the amazing music is the cherry on top
I think ppl forget that these are female Brachiosauruses. They've never heard a male call in their lives. So when Dr. Grant called out to them, that's why so many responded and even lifted their heads. And you can hear them continue and even get Louder as Lex and Tim are talking. They were probably like "HOLD UP!!! Since when did we get a MALE up in here??? I CALL DIBS!!!..NO ME!...NO MEEE!!!"😂😂😂
The idea is to show contrasting ideas, that not all dinosaurs are meat eating killers. It’s also a great scene to further develop Alan’s character as he grows from disliking children to realizing not all kids are like the one he met and spoke to at the beginning of the film.
the picture of them singing at dusk in a loud forest is provably the only mention of the most classic view of dinosaurs from the XVIIIth century... absolutelly stunning...
