Wow.... Just incredible. I haven't read the book so I cant comment on the accuracy but the rest is still so well done. The use of mods is perfect in creating atmosphere and getting the dinos to look right and the Park Design itself is just incredible
I think you messed up with something in the book the tour cars were Toyota Land Cruisers you guys used ford explores I just thought I would let you guys know that
Great work! I need to reread the book now! Don’t you love that novel dilo skin?? I pretty much had to include it in my film park hahah I like how you handled the music in this vid btw
Thanks mate! Yeah that novel Dilo is absolutely my favourite here. Glad you liked the work with the music, I was worried that there was not enough of it during the whole video.. But you know, I decided to make the park drive more nature-immersive
This was a gorgeous recreation! The park and tour were laid out beautifully. I wasn’t the biggest fan of some of the skins/mods (triceratops for example) but overall this was really enjoyable. It’s one of my favorite novels and is just really fun. Was there a reason you didn’t include the Sauropod Swamp on the tour? I know they drive by it in the book as the storm is coming in. Have you thought about attempting to recreate the novel version of The Lost World? With your skill and the mods available for PC gameplay, it should be spectacular.
Thanks, I'm glad you liked it! So, the reason why the Sauropod swamp is not part of the tour is because I placed the enclosure in a particular position on the map, so you can spot the Apatosaurus in the distance, just like that part in the novel, shortly after they land on the island. It was difficult at that point to make the tour track pass near them. I'd like to recreate Site B of the second novel, and some other also requested it. The fact is that I haven't read TLW book in years, so I don't remember some areas and details. Maybe in future, who knows. Right now I'm working on a peculiar park, set in Pennsylvania, and the cool thing is that I can do this in JWE 1 :)
That's really accurate! I reread the novel from Michael Crichton many many times and your park fit perfectly in the description. I've only one thing to be critical on a really high level. The number of dinosaurs wasn't 100% I don't know, if I count wrong because of the camera shots but ... there was 6 Stegos in your park, but in the novel were only 4 Stegos left. Whatever xD Thats a really nice work and you should be proud of yourself! Also thanks for the video to show us your creation! Have a nice day :)
Thanks for the really nice comment! Glad you liked my novel version. Sometimes I can variate the number of dinosaurs, to fit better in their paddocks. For example in a large paddock like that, it's odd to put only 4 Stegos, it feels empty.. just my opinion :) Maybe you can check my "3 days at JP" video, or my other recent parks, I think you might like them
Yeah thats truly your opinion and your park! And I can feel it, so much space and it has to be filled with so great animals ^^ Maybe I'll do that :D you'll read from me xD #GermanTryingaToWriteEnglish xD
I used Google translator for that, so I understand everything don't worry. Well, first off thanks for the comment! The raptor "paddock" you see here is meant to be the holding pen in the novel, in fact it is not part of the park drive tour. For that part 12:34, yes it's the point where T. Rex break out from their paddock, glad you got it ;) Cheers from Italy
You have 6 stegos in the book theirs 4 stegos and also on the tour they see both the hypsolophidon highlands and dilophosaurus paddock on their left side
@@Dektoonics_inc. Something tells me you watched this more than once 😄 I'd love to see what you're capable of with a heavily modded JWE. I don't know exactly how much it would cost right now (DLCs included of course), only downside is that the sequel will be out in less than 2 months
"Jurassic Park: Dead Islands" is a fan fiction novel written by Fabien Delage. It is not part of the official Jurassic Park canon, but it does take place in the same universe. The novel is set eight years before the events of the first Jurassic Park film and follows a group of survivors who become stranded on an island inhabited by dinosaurs. The book has received mixed reviews, with some praising its originality and others criticizing its writing quality. However, it is still a popular choice among fans of the Jurassic Park franchise who are looking for more stories set in that world.
Wow… can you recreate this in jwe2 maybe? Update it? Anyway I love this I’m watching the vid for the fourth time now lol Also I would’ve liked to see a map overview of the park, but otherwise great work
Thanks, I'm really glad you liked this that much :) Btw I don't think is possible to do a better job in jwe2 right now, for the only fact that some essential mods are missing (like the juvenile t.rex, novel dilophosaurus and others)
@@SuperKingGhidorah it was, this was the first time I tried to recreate something from a book in a game. Only the T. Rex part was a little painful to record haha
@@NublarLodge 😂 Rex wasn't being cooperative. I get that from the raptors. Also loved the Dilo novel skins makes me wish we could get actual content like this
@@SuperKingGhidorah yeah, AI not being so "intelligent" lol Agree, that Dilo is awesome and I find some of the novel's dinosaurs more colorful and scarier, compared to the movie's counterparts
Amazing, just stumbled upon this... I wish the films (and games) could better capture the atmosphere of an expensive but low key and quite secretive enterprise that we read about in the original novel.
