Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis (PC) Speedrun 100% - [World Record] in 1h18m45s 

Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis is a theme park/zoo tycoon for the PC, xbox and PS2 released in 2003. The park management and tycoon elements are all fairly barebones, but that doesn't matter to those of us who played this game in our childhoods- this game had dinosaurs and thats all that matters.

So with the recent discovery from Cobalt_The_Righteous that star ratings are acheived from a cumulative score from visitors on departure, kicking out happy guests is the new strat.
But this also means with nobody needing to stay in the park long enough for either of these activities, - toilets (and kiosks) can be skipped. This makes a tighter park where one can reduce gest parking, though my designs are still quite new. I buy them later in the midgame when its going to be too hard to micromanage visitors to escape bad moods.
Based on some experiments I think park security can be an afterthought until the first star also, which again means a cheaper start and being quicker to the fourth digteam.
I added a second visitor centre to speed up visitor departure times. I am still experimenting with build designs and placements however.
You'd think i was unlucky to get a rabies outbreak in the park just after 1h. but if you watch the darndest thing happens where both infected dinosaurs kill eachother. one of the gallimimus got sick too but I quarantined- I don't ever remember herbivores contracting rabies??
This run went Toro/para, flaming creek, chenini, tendagaru, morrison B.
Ive thought hells creek B to be one of the best for the midgame, where you need more herbivores for the fun lovers, but the triceratops is freakishly hard to unlock, and its been killing runs. Conversely i have avoided tendagaru, because the kentrasaur is buggy in the PC build and needs to be separated from other herbivores. Morrison B isn't a very popular site but I finished there because I was only otherwise missing brachiosaur, and could get the other dinos while I was there. Its nice to end on jurassic digs actually because you can buy jurassic ambers if you're lucky enough to receive them.
All in all, This run had very good fossil RNG. I got to the end only missing the brachiosaurus, and not getting stuck in any digs. diving for the fifth digteam earlier amde fossil hunting bearable. The faster park management strategies become, we will still find a wall at new dinosaur uptime.
