@@BraidensWorldProductions Considering Disney sent a cease and desist order to a team making a remaster of a near 20 year old star wars game. I don't have any hope. I mean, in this star wars example, they weren't charging users money for it and users had to actually own the original game to be able to play it. If anything Disney/SW stood to profit from this venture as people that didn't own the game would be likely to buy it (as it is still sold on digital platforms) to play the remaster.
This is why a franchise belongs to the fans. The amount of care and love this project is given is like a family member caring for their elderly parent. No soulless corporation can buy or appreciate passion that comes from such a devoted type of love.
This is the exact reason why indie game developers will become the future of gaming I feel like. They aren't afraid to venture off into less interacted with areas of gaming and gamine experiences.
you know I find it amazing that a franchise can have fans that love it so much that they can create something as beautiful, terrifying, and inspiring as this game.

@@VortexThePrime I think that given it is being created inside a Playstation game (Dreams) it may circumvent the copyright. Though if he can charge for it inside the game, then it will likely get shut down.

I have every right to say this is better to me than any official game. The official games are products and I can say whatever opinion I have about their quality. Fans of JP want survival horror type game and don't get one for years.

@WhateverProduction4 I'll draw the connection for you since you seem to be having a difficult time of it. Based on this fan made game, the creator clearly understands what it was that made JP so unique and special. That has been lost over the years and desperately needs a return considering they are still planning to make more movies. Even though, he is creating a game, while they make the movies, it is clear that they are missing the mark in the movies and could use some pointers from someone as creative, respectful and understanding of the franchise as this guy is. That is why it wouldn't hurt and would in fact benefit the franchise as a whole.

Ugh, why isn't this the content we're getting from Universal??? Why is it being left to the fans to MAKE the content we crave?! Phenomenal work, love the visual references to the old Universal ride, I only hope Universal doesn't attack you the way they've attacked so many others trying to make JP fan games :(
because spielberg doesnt allow you to kill dinossaurs, its the reason why the snes and genesys games had tasers and tranq darts (but you could still kill comps with full taser lol), problably one of the reasons why the survival game wasnt relesed either.
@@bladerj Um... no. First of all, why are you blaming spielberg? He produces MOVIES, not video games, he has zero say in what kind of games get released. Secondly, the old Sega and Nintendo games featured Rocket launchers and shotguns, as well as gas grenades that were a reference to the gas grenades used in the book (lethal), so not sure what you're thinking of, unless you got some kind of censored copy that changed it to make it less violent "For children". And the old PC game Trespasser featured many guns, like the Franchi SPAS-12 and the Desert Eagle. Maybe do a little research before frothing at the mouth at Spielberg, he's done nothing wrong to the Jurassic Franchise, and there is no shortage of old games that allow unmetered violence against our toothy friends. Hell even the modern park builders allow you to kill dinosaurs.
I'm so disappointed that this game won't be coming out!!! I was really looking forward to it! Jurassic Park is my favorite movie of all time and this, in my opinion, is the direction the franchise should have been taking! This is what I love about Dreams. People make such incredible levels. Not everyone can become a game designer as the industry is so hard to get into but this gives them a chance. The whole community is so friendly and supportive as well.

This is absolutely, hands down, the best love letter to Jurassic Park fans ever created in the history of the franchise! The only things out there better than this are the original film & book from which this labour of love originates. The rest gets a close runner's up at best!! As a PC gamer, I'm getting a playstation for the sole reason to be able to play this title! That's how well Genetic Games have performed, to the extent that they have become a console seller! Hammond said that creation is a sheer act of will, and that next time it will be flawless. Well, this is it! You did it! You crazy Genetic Games as Malcolm would say. You did it!

Actually in Dreams there are other awesome things,even at the level of this, not that much because the effort needed it's brutal but you can find more gems
This brought back memories of me and my late nan watching Jurassic Park for the first time 12 years ago. This broke me down in a really good way when I watched it because it reminded me of the time we watched the movie together. I'm 19 and still remember it sometimes
You can truly see all the hard work being out into this game. Hearing Elie Statler and John Hammond talking made this so much more emotional. Thank you so much for your hard work, I can't wait to see and to play this myself. So impressed 🖤✨
Incredible. I already love everything that is shown in this trailer. The graphics, dinosaurs... everynthing look incredible. I really like that you create this in the time of Jurassic Park, and Jurassic World, bringing back the original place where it all started. Not only that, but we'll be able to see and explore the whole island with all its wonders and horrors. And all this created on Playstation! Just incredible. It's so good that you show places which weren't in the movie, but in the book, like the River Adventure. It was in the book and it was made in Universal Studios as well. But what I find really good is, that we can experience the whole incident from a worker's perspective, like we've never seen before. This'll be a really awesome, keep up this great work!
For anyone who doesn't know what Dreams is, this is an ABSOLUTELY STUNNING MASTERPIECE. It is soooooo incredibly hard to make a basic game in Dreams and yet this person created a detailed, well put together game and trailer. My MIND IS BLOWN. The trailer was honestly beautifully made and done as well. Maybe I missed it, but is there a release date for this game?
The amount of passion put into it is almost tangible. Yes, it is not an AAA title - but it doesn't have to be that to show how much love the creator has for the original film. Music, camera angles, lines, the attention to small details. Sometimes we forget how much it means. Thank you for your love and passion, may they carry your project towards completion.

I can see that they really did their homework when making this one not only did they take the movie replications but they also took the video game that telltale made and all the information from it along with the book and mashed it all together to give us the real Jurassic Park put in a video game, very impressed and cannot wait to play this if ever given the chance to, because most of these people that upload these projects never give the fans the opportunity to experience it so I'm really hoping to be able to try and get to play this game

You guys have done such an incredible job. When the game (Dream) finally drops, I think Dreams is finally going to get a lot of intention and an influx in players. Youre doing more to promote Dreams than MediaMolecule has ever done.

It is crazy..how this, incredible design of a game, a game that all Jurassic fans have always wished for, is being made..in “Dreams”. I’ve seen people play “Dreams” before, this is *the* most talented game I’ve ever seen on that game. This is practically its own game. Amazing work. I wish you luck!

This sure put a sheer smile on my face from beginning to end. This is how Jurassic Park was meant to be to me and that is why I have come to love it just as the movie.

The fact this was made in Dreams is crazy. Why Universal will never give us an amazing game like this is beyond me. They better not shut this project down. Well done.
After watching this, I'm left absolutely speechless. Simply AMAZING. I've already seen the talented previous Jurassic Park creations you've made in dreams, but this is another level. Breathtaking creation. Obviously a project of love for the JP franchise. And shows EXACTLY what Dreams is possible of providing. Much respect for the time and effort that went into this. Just WOW.

They could just as easily take over the project, have the devs be project lead, & releases this for free publicity, sprinkles sponsorships here and there. Worst marketing stunts they could've picked tbh

For those wondering the team behind this game got a letter from Universal to essentially cease making the game. What could be done is a remodel of assets and a changing of the logo so that it's a completely new game with the same park vibe as Jurassic Park.

@@tarbosaurus Not yet necessarily. We have to see if that Survival game is any good. Its pretty easy to trust a one man diehard fan project. Harder to trust a game okayed by a corporate committee made by several people who for all we know may not even like Jurassic Park and only treat it like a job.

@@tarbosaurus Universal might have the "balls" to make a JP project. But the talent the op mentioned is still up in the air. Lets not forget about the movie games like Gollum and King Kong that came out this year. Both were pretty terrible. We literally haven't seen a first person JP game since Trespasser. There are several ways they could screw this new survival game up.
This is the game I have always wanted, the amount of effort put into this is immeasurable every model is placed so precisely, to make the entire story into the game with every major scene, balance it out with making the game playable and fun, I don't even know where to begin. I'm not just saying this to say it, but I am honestly more than impressed, this is one of the coolest games I have ever scene. I only like particular games, but this one might be my all-time favorite I have seen, Thank you for making something truly incredible.
I really wonder how someone can make a rendering of this quality without any studio offering to launch the game and rework it to have even more advanced graphics. it can be seen that it's a game that was made by a fan and an enthusiast, it's the game we've all been waiting for to have an extraordinary gaming experience a big congratulations for the work you have done!

Omg.. this is seriously THE GAME we’ve ALL been waiting for since 1993!! I hope, beyond all hope, that this blows up. Secondly, if this gets the traction it deserves.. maybe one day we’ll also get a dominion based game to act as the missing link between dinosaurs being loose and inhabiting the world, and the “wrap up” events in the movie.. we had 5 movies talking about the dangers of loose Dinos, only to be given a time jump and some stupid locust storyline nobody cared about
