I honestly cannot tell which is more impressive, this or Disney Shanghai's PotC. Like, that Indominus chasing the ride vehicle is easily one of the most incredible animatronics I've ever seen.
@@gabrieldally6044 Shanghai Pirates is pretty impressive when I rode it. When it goes underwater you can actually believe it. This is great as well. This ride is clearly their big main ride for the park like Pirates.
PotC is much better, although this looks good on camera, but the screens in this ride is not good when you look at it on the viechle,we can clearly see the edges
This is how you do modern theme park rides at the very top level, having a mix of different techniques from big high definition screens to advanced animatronics… it really puts something like the recent Spider-Man ride at Disneyland to shame.
You are comparing this ride to spiderman? Dude there is a HUGE, and I mean HUGE difference is the amount of space used between these rides. Over in that park in Beijing probably had all the space to work with as they wanted. Spiderman in Disneyland had the size of Bugs Land theater to work with.
@@Dorokill And that’s why it’s so important to hire creative/inventive people in the Imagineer department who can think outside the box. I’m not saying that everything has to necessarily be done on this _scale…_ after all, just look at the Fast & Furious ride at Universal Orlando. The amount of space that ride uses is absolutely HUGE but the majority of it is just for the queue to snake around various “sets” while the actual ride itself is a depressingly unimaginative, by-the-numbers, boring attraction where you simply watch a big screen.
@@shelbyvillerules9962 yup, because a familly friendly spider man ride with no height requirement or crazy motion that ANYONE can ride to have the feeling to slinging webs like spiderman is unimaginative when it truly caters to "anyone and everyone can enjoy"
@@Dorokill No, it’s unimaginative because it’s a copy & paste of Lego Ninjago. The Spider-Man IP deserves something more creative than that and the size of the attraction space is no excuse. I’ve been on plenty of amazing, creative rides that weren’t housed in a huge block… I mean, at the very _least_ they could’ve put more effort into the actual ride visuals so they looked a bit better than a PS4 videogame.
@@Dorokill Spider man at Disney is crap! Don’t set there and even try to protect this huge blunder! And it’s not just being built in California but also in Orlando and Paris! There’s no excuse for this! You can literally get the same experience at Six Flags for half the price!
Holy shit this is the most impressive ride I’ve ever seen this is it i don’t think anything will top this Jurassic ride I hope that they do this in universal studios Hollywood as well as a second ride
The part where the Indominus Rex chases the vehicle is so nicely done. Finally one of the dinosaurs in the ride doesn’t just bobs it’s head and stands still. Can’t wait until COVID is over so that I can take my boy there.
This ride is everything Skull Island: Reign of Kong could've been and should've been. That ride had so much potential which was wasted on all those screens. Here there's a much better balance of practical effects vs screens.
Amazing? Just like the movie! 3 thumbs up for the Universal Studios Beijing's Jurassic World Adventure Ride! Hope that they made it into a big theme park attraction with real animatronic dinosaurs for instance! Twinkling Dsungaripterus!👍👍👍🦕🦕🦕🦕🦕🦖🦖🦖
I cannot believe how advanced they are with the rides. I would like to see this more often in America's rides. I know they are already doing it with rides like Rise to the Resistance, but this looks amazing.
That was really cool! Well done Universal Studios Beijing! I'm really impressed! Especially with that moving Indominous Rex animatronic! My hats off to you!
Wow!!!! This feels so much like the universal I grew up with in Florida! That genuine fear I had as a child going onto a ride like the original King Kong and earth quake rid is now matched with Jurassic park! If there’s one thing I miss is the intense rides in universal Florida but I can’t wait to try this out some day soon!
money. That and also the series isn't finished yet. If Dominion does well its likely the older rides might be fully done over to introduce the new state of the world of Dominion well Jurrassic World the Ride in China remains stuck on the island :P
The difference is This isn't a water ride hence why theyre able to afford smoothly flowed full body animatronic dinosaurs The system of this seems to run similar to transformers the ride If the one in Hollywood wasn't a water ride we would've gotten something like this
This is absolutely stunning, and I love the inclusion of the lab as part of the ride’s queue. It’s super immersive, and I’ve always had a penchant for immersive ride experiences with rides based off of films. I hope to someday travel to Universal Beijing to see this in person.
damn this Jurassic World ride puts the one in Hollywood to shame. The indominus rex animatronics are outstanding. Mind blown. I hope I can get the chance to go on this ride some day.
If the one in Hollywood wasn't a water ride We would've been able to get something like this tbh Notice how the layout of this and ride system is similar to transformers
Practical animation and effects are so much more impressive to see than any videotape experience. Theme parks need to make more of these types of attractions instead of simulators.
HOLY CRAP HOW HAVE I JUST NOW SEEN THIS!?! THIS IS AMAZING!! I know they wanted to repurpose the og track ride and all but WHY DIDNT THE UNIVERSALS IN AMERICA GIVE US THIS!?!?!?
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼Amazing attraction!!! Wow!! Tops any other rides! Extremely impressive from the time you walk in to getting off of the ride! ❤ Thank you for sharing this video!
It seems that Universal has more rides at Orlando than here but wow.. I wish they'd update the one in Orlando to be like this. That huge animatronic is the best one I've ever seen, it looks genuinely real. Plus that transition at the end with the 🦖 falling and going from a screen to an actual animatronic is the smoothest I've ever seen.
We don’t have anything like this. Its a completely different layout and ride system from any of the Jurassic world/park rides in the USA. Plus this is the newest so of course it would be the current best.
Wow Universal has really stepped up their game! I sure hope the new park under construction in Orlando will be getting attractions to this caliber! This would make for a very nice addition to Jurassic Park in the older park as well! Not sure where they could put it currently but some of the other crap around they’ve made in the past few years could definitely be removed for something like this and I doubt anyone would complain.
I think the Ministry of Magic/Fantastic Beasts attraction at Epic Universe will be similar to this. I hope it's as good as this. Considering Universal's track record for the past 3 years, I'd say Epic Universe will be a game changer.
The one is the USA is old. Both of them! The one in California did have a update recently but there’s only so much they can do with the space and the fact that is a water ride.
@@skelo9033 well it can but that's mainly because Universal's new ride habits are mostly "Screens screens everywhere who likes practical stuff it worked well with Spider-Man so I hope you like screens because we're going to give you all the screens"
This looks waaaay better than the Jurassic world ride in universal Studios in California, I was expecting way more but it was disappointed 2 hours in line for less than 5 min. It needs to scary and loud the ride that's the feeling you need to get, it's dinosaurs...
Aw, man! Universal Studios Orlando could've been 3 Jurassic ride content Jurassic Park River Adventure, Jurassic World: Velcecoaster and Jurassic World Adventure.
@@noelvaldez96 honestly this could easily replace Kong. Only problem is that the spider-man and transformers rides both have near identical ride systems.
I guess this officially means the Orlando Jurrasic ride is the worst of all! I remember going on it when I was like 6, and now I'm 25 and I went on it a month ago and it has barely changed at all, I hope they update it soon!
I watched the ride footage probably ten times I was rewinding to see every little detail. This is incredible, I'm glad you've shared it with us. That last scenes perfect transition from screens to animatronic was seem less, if I didn't already know how these rides were made (and the obvious actors who can't be there 24/7, takes me out of the immersion a bit but nothings perfect) I would've thought it was all animatronic and live show scenes
I like this a lot, as a kid i loved dinosaurs but was so scared to go on the water ride, I think this is how a lot of big, franchised rides should be made!
Oh hell nah!!!! 😱😱😱😱😱OMG that is literally insane, watching that it felt like a combo of King-Kong and Spider-Man from Universal!!! Plus like any other 3-D ride I forgot to mention, and damn those crazy animatronics that was a bit scary. I would be so scared lol if I was like that mad close up to both the T-Rex and the Indominous.
My first attraction i rode there during dragon boat festival this weekend. Was excellent and gave me sweaty palms. Also very impressed with Chris Pratts chinese lol
I thought the Dinosaur ride at Disney's Animal Kingdom was terrifying...that one doesn't have ANYTHING on this one! I am both impressed and terrified all at the same time!
The dinosaur ride is in animal kingdom not Epcot, plus it’s an exact clone of Indiana Jones adventure at Disneyland, except themed differently. This on the other hand is a ground up unique attraction, so of course it would be better
I just wish the audio wasn't in Chinese... I'd love to know what they're saying. China has always been one of the most advanced countries in technology, and that skill certainly hasn't failed them here. Every Jurassic World ride should be like this.
Over the past two decades China and other Eastern nations have worked really hard to ketch up to the west i technology. In perhaps just over a decade they might surpass Europe. West is falling behind with the acception of Elon Musk and Tesla. Need new blood. Time to encourage bright new minds to compete and move to the States. Put more money in Research and Development the way China and Russia did instead of bailing out old companies.
The only thing that could improve this would be more screen time in the middle parts of the ride. It felt too empty and cheap compared to the rest that was beyond epic and realistic. Best animatronics ever created. These look better than the movies. It’s insane.
This ride looks incredible. Only thing missing would’ve been a cool water thing at the end of the mosasaur eating the indominus Rex and the people getting sprayed
Is it just me or does anyone else think that big-name amusement parks in other countries have the better rides? No disrespect to the JW ride we have in the states, but this looks just as good if not moreso.
Guys, you have to come to this place, the animatronics and the set pieces are way more realistic and awesome than you see it here. Like the first part where the indo rex roared at you, there was actually water being sprayed. The chase was so realistic you can actually see the indo rex's legs moving towards you. my favorite part is when you rode pass beneath the two rexs', the size of those animatronics are unbelievable. In my opinion, it's way better than those in our countries! I recommend you to visit here, after your first time here, you WILL come back. Im planning going here again next summer, will be my 4th time!
