When a storm hits, get the shelters open. Take direct control of the helio and picture the dinos in each paddock. The money offsets your income loss during the storm. Dont forget to close shelters as soon as it starts getting bright.
Thank you dude your guides helped me with platinum! Few tips 1.Always have yourself like 15 Sthrutis or Galis, then just spam the missions which want you to add some dinos to your biggest herd!!!!You usualy add like 3 more then sell 3 older ones right away! Then refresh missions! This mission will come back in like 1 or 2 turns!I usualy also do few other easy ones like have no sick dinos for 5 minutes! Many times these two just go one after another dont worry to refresh missions for money cause these missions will give you like 500k to1.5 mil so refreshing for 150k is nothing! 2.Personaly i always invest in vaccines so my dinos did not get sick as much even in later levels i was not bothered by it at all!!! 3.Very good combinations of meat eaters Allo + Cerato,Barionyx + Zucho, and if you get the chance put up 10 Carnos or Megalosauruses(seperately) in a big enclosure to get tons of points!(thanks Xprt) 4.Also i usualy changed all my roads to fat ones and all my shops to big shops(that gives a lot of rating)but be sure to have lots of dino points nearby! 5.Since you finish these missions with lots of spare time, thanks to these guides i finished them even faster so usualy at the point when i start to earn some money(specialy in the last stage)I spent like one hour(in game)by just standing still and collecting money so basicly I started most of my building with A LOT of cash but lost time and in the end still finished with a lot of hours to spare.(Last level i finished with 7.45,even with waiting a lot)Not sure if any of these will fit your playstyle, but you can try them if nothing else helps! 6.Sometimes it's easier and faster to put dino with a broken bone or sickness to sleep and sell,at some points you will have a lot on your plate and will not want to deal with that dino so just sell it!
I'm finding I'm getting to the stage at the end of this video, but as soon as I start expanding any further with more dinos and accompanying shops I instantly go back into the red. The scale of difficulty really goes up on the challenge mode. But I'll keep these tips and things in mind next time I give it a go, thanks for uploading!
i know the game is out for a while but i started playing it after dominion trailer was out and i got addicted, but without ur guide i wouldnt hav a chance to beat the jurassic difficulty mark,i finished southwest usa at jurassic difficulty, now im going to continue with the other maps by watching ur videos,ty bro
Add 1 or 2 innovation Centers and one guest attraction… they raise appeal a lot and will help rake In money early. Even without any dinosaurs you’ll get money from them, you can just leave your game running and come back every 10 minutes or so to check on it. Once you have some money built up you can start all the steps here then still have lots of money left over. Also during storms open your shelters as you’ll loose a lot less money.
That method will work for people who want to beat this level by any means necessary, but it’s not a good long term strategy since each level seems to get harder and adds in extra modifiers. Money is only half the battle later on, so saving up a bunch by playing passively will only take you so far.
Great Jurassic difficulty guide man, I have been struggling, this guides been very helpful! I noticed that having a scientist with "Altruistic Salary" which btw lowers salary by 50% helps SOO much. For me personally, when I got to 10:00 mark after following the guide to a T, I had just enough to buy the med facility or staff center with cash to spare (even after taking pics). Game made a decision for me lol my park went stale and went into the red before i could buy the med facility. I hesitated cause it would of took all my scientists due to welfare skill check, threw me in the red either way. The scientists cost per minute seem to be the straw that breaks your finances on jurassic difficulty. After using them that many times you have so little left if you dont have atleast 1 Altruistic Salary scientist. Also should go without saying, don't buy a scientist with the skill you will lose any profit you would of ever made in the beginning. I could be wrong tho, I'm still learning theres so much going on.
I’m glad this guide helped you get started! You are definitely right about the altruistic salary, they can be a lifesaver! Some scientists on that mission seemed to have much lower costs than others, so it’s worth keeping an eye out for them. The management in this game is pretty intensive compare to the first, there is still a lot to figure out and optimize!
K, nice guide, however, was hoping for 5 star tips. I'm stuck at 3,7-4,2 stars with everything in 'Guest comfort' at 100% and 'Guest approval' only missing dinosaur welfare (at 96%), dinosaur appeal is at 128%
So after I made this video we discovered that you need about 200% dinosaur appeal to get 5 stars on that map for some reason, not sure if it’s a bug or not. I would recommend using suchomimus and just spam a bunch into the same enclosure to get to 5 stars
Thanks for the guide! Just finished Campaign + Chaos Theory and now moving on to challenge modes on Jurassic difficulty. Do you have any recommended dinosaur combos? In JWE1 I remember spamming struthiomimus, ceratosaurus, and dilophosaurus once the dinosaur variety conditions were met, as they were the very efficient for rating/cost, not difficult to house, and didn't get critically uncomfortable during storms. Not sure what would be best in JWE2 though. Certainly the Brachiosaur is just as annoying to house as it was in JWE1, so I'll probably avoid going for any more than just that one freebie you showed at the start here.
So challenge mode in this game makes doing dino combo’s a little harder, each map has different Dino’s available, so you might not always have the ones you typically use. You mainly want to look for Dino’s that cohabitate well with each other and want the same type of foliage (ground leaf, ground fiber, etc.) I might try to make a guide on how all of that works, and a few combos to go with it when I get the chance!
A great start up guide for Jurassic difficulty but there is so much more required to actually complete it. I found that scientists with cheaper research bonus were an absolute life saver. I'm stuck at 4.5 stars and finding that I only need to increase profits to break the 5 star but its getting extremely hard and the late game research items are very hard to get as they require very skilled and expensive scientists.
Scientist expenses really add up over time, and I should have mentioned that in the guide. The game lies a bit about the appeal you need, you actually need about twice as much as it says.
When you build your enclosure you have to make small space for struthiomimas so It won't go far away And your guest won't be able to see your Dinos When the brachiosaurus arrives make your enclosure bigger
I am new to this game so maybe there has been an update but that enclosure is no where close to big enough. The brachi will break out for that reason plus you'll go broke from placing the food for the brachi.
I already hate challenge mode and this whole scientist and contract bullshit I already had to restart like 100 times because it all went to hell because why? My scientists always demanded raises at every second, always lost money, I did everything you said in the video, I’m only doing jurassic because I wanted to feel able to complete it! I honestly just want to get the dinosaurs I need for sandbox so I can be done with this crap😫
If you are only after the Dino’s for sandbox, play challenge mode on medium or easy difficulty. It’s a good way to unlock the dinos without the struggle of Jurassic difficulty. As far as scientists go, they require more money each time you put a skill point into them, so be careful not to level up your scientists too much until you can afford it.
@@thexprt7058 I know… it’s just… I want to feel able to complete jurassic difficulty, and this game has already given me enough hell as it is with all its new aspects
It's definitely tough, and it can be frustrating. I'm sure you will be able to beat it at some point! Just keep trying, and if you have questions feel free to ask! I plan to keep on putting out guides to help people, I really hope they are able to help you!
thanks this helped i just got the game and i really wanted the indoraptor/ripper i call him ripper and when i learned that there were hybrid i was very excited and to get the indoraptor you need to complete the challenge in the UK i think
I’m glad this helped you! You do unlock indoraptor on this level, but if you are just trying to unlock dinosaurs you can just play the level on easy or medium difficulty and unlock everything that way. Even if you get to five stars you can continue on and research all the species so you have them available in sandbox.
The big thing for me that got me the first time I tried this challenge is that the game straight up lies to you in regard to target appeal. It is not possible to make enough money to qualify for 5 stars without getting at _least_ double the target appeal. It's just ridiculous. Completely ruined my first good run, and I wasn't able to get enough money together to double my park's appeal in the few hours I had left.
Thanks for getting us started on jurrasic, but was to hard to keep going. Just keep getting hit with issues... then fail for no money??? Frustrating lol. Please do a full completion guide. 🙏
Yeah it's definitely tough, even just one or two mistakes can be enough to ruin you, especially in the later parks. I have started doing full walkthroughs of each park after that video, I might have to revisit it and do a full walkthrough for anyone that is struggling!
the thing i hate about this map is, i build an enclosure that took a huge chunk of the map, cover it entirely with forest and that asshole is still "missing forest"
In my biggest paddock my dinos got avian pox so I waited till they all got it ended up putting it on 3x speed waiting for 15 sec to be up. Game waited till they all died. Only when I released new dinos did it unlock avian pox med. Pissed me off I work so hard trying to do things fast and the game doesn't unlock avian pox on time like it should have. Now I have to start over.
Do you have guides for the more recent challenges like Jurassic Park. I haven’t even finished the easy level for that. I did accomplish all levels for San Diego and almost done with Fallen Kingdom. Same goes for the most recent challenges like Arizona or Washington. Washington and Oregon are a bit of a head scratcher
I wachted someone complete Canada on Hard Difficulty. He made so many mistakes at the start. He succeeded in time. I am confident that I will get all trophies available for Jurassic World Evolution 2. The Challenge Modes are the last trophies I need to get, I have to complete them all on Jurassic Difficulty. I will tell you guys how it went
Currently Game Time 06.00 (3 left) 717.400 per minute 2Giganotosaurus 3Carnotaurus 1Brachio Countless Struthi 1Metria 3Ichthy 1Tylo I am unsure if the water Dinos were a good idea. Tipp: don't research lagoon viewing stand for 3.5mio and 16 logistics, just place a normal viewing stand. It also works. Let's see how it will go on
I basically lost. Game Time 08:02 and still stuck at 3.4 stars. Tried to get a Trex. Had to research him first but I don't have enough scientists for the expedition. Contracts didn't helped me. Hiring a overpriced scientist for the expedition was too expensive, couldn't recover from that. Brachio about to die. This is difficult. I just want the platinum trophy. Will try again on hard. If that doesn't work, I will give up.
Don't give up! I know jurassic difficulty is tough, but it is winnable. I would recommend checking out my video about the best dino's for appeal, and if you want you can watch my live stream I just did of that level and see if that helps you!
Think I'm gonna attempt on medium first and build up confidence in my park building ability lol! I still can't beat Jurassic World Chaos Theory because I screw up the enclosures in the beginning haha
🤣 it happens to the best of us. Sometimes you get distracted doing something else and completely forget to do something important like make sure your Dino’s have the right environment lol
@@thexprt7058 oh no that's not it. They were 100%content. That's why I was like whyyyyyyy and then I tried again and forgot to check on the brachi after I placed her and she decided to break out
Tip: The Brachiosaurus is an excellent way to get the "That Wasn't Luck" Achievement by shooting him from over 125m. Also, those small paths to the amenities not auto connected to paths hurt the overall reach of their effectiveness, more than the length of path used. so keep that in mind too.
Could be a lot of different things, my first thought is that the dinos might be wandering out of view, their rating doesn’t count if your guests can’t see them.
Select the dinosaur and go to the tab that shows its enclosure requirements, you will be able to see how what it needs for its enclosure and will be able to see a grey/white outline on the ground that shows where it’s territory is
I have 125% attraction, my shops are maximized and i have a 4.4 star rating, how is this possible. Ich have no more room on this map, I think it’s impossible 😂
It can be tricky sometimes getting the appeal you need in the amount of space they give you. This particular map also lies about the amount of appeal you need, it’s actually significantly more than 100%
@@thexprt7058 I have 125 % appeal how much higher should I go? I built more shops but they’re making like 3k profit and I have no space. Maybe i have to restart 🙈
I did a similar start, but am now stuck at 3 stars. Are the small amenities better on this, because I tried Medium & Large and no matter where I put them, they're all in minus profit.
I usually stick with medium, they seem to usually do the trick. I occasionally have the issue with my shops being negative for a while too. If they are negative just remove all of the modules so you lose less money, then come back to them later and they might be positive again
The parts you covered aren't what I'm having issues with. Getting the park up and running is easy. How the hell did you go from 4 stars to 5 though?!? I'll have 6000+/6000 Appeal and 13/11 Species but still make far too little money to get up to 1.2 Million to get that 5th star. Should I be spamming Cinemas? Should I just be spamming dinos? I don't get it from there. I'll have 100% Guest Comfort and already be way above the Dino Requirements, I'll have extra Amenities, but I'll STILL be 200k per Minute below what I need.
I ended up needing to go well above what they said for the appeal, so I would recommend putting more Dino’s. Try to fill out any enclosures you can put more dinos into, otherwise I would recommend a large carnivore enclosure to push you to that fifth star
@@thexprt7058 Okay so I built 12 more Ceratas and got my appeal to 8200/6000 and I went from 4 stars to 4.2 - so it helps but it doesn't help fast enough. At 7 hours into this that's just too damn slow to hit 5 stars by 9 hours.
@@thexprt7058 My guest comfort and accommodation were at max. I never could get to 5 stars in two hours from 4 stars on that playthrough. I started over and got 5 stars by 7 hours I think. Idk what the problem was. But it was much easier after I reset.
The brachoisaurus is terrible like the worst dinosaur you can make if you don't have the largest fucking enclosure and they won't even go to all of it so they're needs seem to never be properly met I hate that dinosaur, like "oh I have enough forest but I can't eat this need more trees to eat, too many trees to eat now I need more forest" enclosure is big enough for them but not for their fucking diet and love of forests that their diet barely counts toward such a dumb animal in game to deal with
Its actually better to NOT have dinos in your park. Forget the brach. Just synth and incubate the struthiomimus. When the struth is ready transport by heli but cancel(leave her in the hatchery). Having those fences will only hurt your profits. Hatchery doesnt need fences to be operational either.
Yes, hard mode is just slightly easier. It typically doesn’t require as much to get 5 stars and the challenge modifiers are a little weaker, but the overall strategy should still work
DON'T LOSE MONEY IN THE STORMS!! Hey guys, so yesterday I was doing this Challenge, and did as The Xprt said in terms of setup, the Brachi etc (Thanks for the top tips my man!). Anyway, as you know, when a storm hits you Open All Shelters, but yesterday I decided to Deactivate all of my Amenities. By doing this I wasn't losing 7-14k per minute, per store. I kept tabs on my Financials, and by taking control of the heli and taking pictures of the Dino's, I never went into negative money. I kept viewing galleries open, as that Dino visibility is still generating income. I'm currently at 3 stars and am doing this every time a storm hits. Yes, it's a bit of a pain to pause, deactivate all the shops then reactivate them after, but we all know the alternative can easily result in game over. Hope this helps 🙂
Just to add to this, it served me well and I completed the Challenge in 9:04. Every time I had a storm though, I frantically took photos from the chopper to offset the losses I was actually getting. I found the most frustrating part was towards the end when trying to build cash for a Mosa, Giga etc but Dino deaths set me back a bit. Anyway, hope my little tip helps 🙂
I appreciate you making this, but it simply does not work for me. I've tried 25+ times, following your directions every single time. At this point it's obviously me ha. I do hate how, even with deactivating my amenities, a storm *immediately* takes my money from hundreds of thousands profit to bankrupt. I'm seriously about to give up on this game.
