This species has had a total of three in the main line, all the same sculpt. The yellow one from Fallen Kingdom (The one you showed), a red one from Dino Rivals, and a gray-ish brown one with a awful slider button from Dino Escape. All figures had decent paint, good teeth, and pretty good tail length too, but my issue is the pose. They are very low to the ground, and that can lead to balacing issues. I would know, I have the last two, and I dislike them all Not bad figures, but not great either. This one definitely does take the cake and looks fantastic
@@jurassicreviewschannel That might be the best one, but mine sucks. It's battery are so worn out, it's jaw doesn't close all the way. At least it stands a little better, but I just put it in the bin. I'll wait for this good standing and better looking Metricanthosaurus to come out
Like music background, give cool atmosphere. Dino is bit goofy. Wish teeth was bit separated, sharper and painted. Instead looks like celebrities with teeth replacement.
@Jurassic Reviews At the moment, I just've 6 'Hammond Collection' figures: Ian Malcolm, Velociraptor (JP1), Parasaurolophus, Ceratosaurus, Ankylosaurus & Pachycephalosaurus; between all of them, my favorite so far is, without dude, the Ceratosaurus. The T-rex, although sadly still I don't have it, 'ld be my 2° predilect of the line... but now that 2° place's undoubtedly disputed by the Metriacanthosaurus, it's A-MA-ZING!!!!! I don't know, it reminds me to Kenner years for some reasons I can't even explain... :)
I still think this is an odd choice of species for the Hammond Collection line, and the 30th connection is tenuous, but it's a very nice sculpt. Appealing colors, too.
Yeah the medium sized Dinos in this wave are all a bit odd for a 30th anniversary thing, though this one at least has some connection to the first film.
There have been pretty odd choices since Concavenator that don't have much connection to the film, if it all. It's cool they're giving awareness to these lesser known dinos but I was expecting the line to do only the ones that appeared in the movies. Theory I have is they probably released this as filler ones to make more business before they release the ones that actually do star in the show, like the Pachy.
