He always wants to pass to Van Dijk but the goalkeeper had anticipated that he would be under pressure so he came closer to receive the back pass. Quansah never looked at the keeper at all but rather wanted to pass across to Van Dijk. He will learn from this, a wake up call. Unfortunately it is costly for Liverpool and I really do hope it doesn’t become like what Steve Gerald did.

The serious problem with my favorite team is, Liverpool can beat any team anytime, when they take everything seriously, yet, they are one team that is so very reliable in losing a game when it matters most to win.

If you knew anything about football, you'd know that Quansah has been outstanding in every game he's played so far. All footballers occasionally make mistakes - even the likes of Pele, Maradona, Messi, etc were not immune. They're human beings performing under intense pressure (and on Sunday in appalling weather conditions on a completely soaked pitch) not cartoon characters on the latest version of FIFA. Get a life...

@@zzcanasta I know footballers do mistakes, as I frequently talk in their favor, protecting them. The difference here is that Quansah was not under any pressure when he decided to play a backpass. He was waaaay too casual. It was like he was in his home backyard. I wasn't mad when we lost 7-2 to Aston Villa, though I was very sad. Yet here, I got mad. I like Quansah, don't make any mistake about that. He will do mistakes which I will easily forgive, but this one....... At least, BE UNDER PRESSURE, to do a mistake.

He wanted at all costs to have Matips place,first he should stop making such atrocious errors,it was not the first time.He turned the game in Man U favour.Wearing a crown is always heavy.

He should stop passing the ball backwards. That is the weakness I have spotted in him.Even where there is space upfront to pass the ball to, his tendency is to pass backwards and if there are dangerous players like Erling Haaland, you can be in trouble always. His style of play is in sharp contrast to how Matip plays. I think Klopp could have noticed this in Quansah's game and could have told him at half time. Definitely, he should stop passing the ball backwards. This is also affecting us scoring more goals than Arsenal who have experienced midfielders and defenders. If Klopp wants him to continually play, he should counsel him on passing forward to create scoring chances for strikers as our goal difference is lagging behind Arsenal and very soon Man City.

Why pass the ball backwards when you are not under pressure to do that? Why pass the ball backwards when the people you need to pass to, are all upfront? Is he aware that if all the top three teams win all their remaining games, then we are stuck where we are, unless Liverpool outscores Arsenal? But then, with Liverpool's recent reluctance to finish off the game with an avalanche of goals even when the chances are myriad, catching up with Arsenal's goal tally is another thing.

Disagree, professional people should not make mistakes. If an electrician or plumber screwed up your electrics or flooded your home you wouldn,t say " never mind ",could have happened to anyone. Well no, you expect professional people to give you their expertise with a faultless performance, especially if you pay them thousands of pounds. That is the trouble today nobody is accountable and so ,on it goes excuse after excuse. Broken Britain wake up ,NOW!
