Some people don't seem to understand what he's saying here. He doesn't feel for the club, Manchester City, he feels for Guardiola and his players, he feels for the people at City that aren't behind the executive decisions.
Kiei Luahi Yes but Guardiola knows the rules he was the one that asked for the players and knew the prices. He is a very intelligent man, there is no way he didn’t know what was happening.
@@HellmuthOnTilt4 It is probably true Guardiola knew enough, but the manager does not decide the business side of things. It is not his decision what the budgets are.
HellmuthOnTilt4 nonsense a manager doesn’t no the depth of where money is coming from into the club it’s not about how much was spent specifically in that period but more to the fact it was illegally gained from a outside of football source etc not competition money or revenue from tickets or merchandise.
@@_kesh_2874 I don't think the manager has any indication of the finances of the club to that degree. He would have said to the board can we get the money, and the board said yes sure. The fact that the board have cooked the books, and then attempted to cover things up which have earned the ban. If they presented the same books to the english FA, then there could be other ramifications. When you submit the accounts as a true and accurate representative account of fact, and they are not then that is fraud. If the FA believe City have lied to them as well, then things could get interesting really fast. City in League 2 next season?
I'm old enough to remember the last time Liverpool won the league. If somebody had said it would be so long until they won their next one they would have locked you up as being insane.
@CHO we look on other teams? Then y you're at a comment section in a video something about Liverpool? Ohh sorry I forgot that it only counts if that was liverpool fan
I remember Gabriel Clarke trying to get transfer info from Kenny by saying the fans wanted to know. Kenny told him, "I think we know our fans better than you."
I doubt you will ever see Klopp making comments like that - he is a true sportsman and has some empathy left even for his opponent. He knows one day he will look back and he can look back without anger
@@saussechicken0410 last year, we won't ever thought they really have a chance in champions league football, but now? prob they can pull miracle like leicester next year
Im a united fan i feel the same. And jealously that we could have maybe had him if woodword hadnt try to sell him a vision on disneyland rather than a football club. The ballsack.
Most managers would be humble about it. I doubt Klopp even cares, hence why he tried to get that question over and done with. Doesn't want to feed journalists with what they want.
@T. de Goeij not sure what you are driving at but every football fan dreams of success and klopp recognises that about coaches and players too who just do their job to win and please supporters
@T. de Goeij Meaning that some people would take the opportunity to gloat about City's misfortune but Klopp has the humanity to see that it's the players and coaching staff - who aren't responsible for the financial misdealings of the club - who ultimately pay the price.
@@JohnAbraham-ft5go As soon as I read the first two words of whatever type of 'comment' you wrote, I knew that this was a wanking bloke... Delete your comment, for your sake my guy... Enjoy your day
This guy has a lot of excellent quality. But let's give him a shout out for his interviews. Ask him how the game went and he gives you a masterclass on coaching like you are fully conversant on how to coach a top team. The other managers just give you a few grunts and a bit of attitude. He needs to get an honorary knighthood.
The best managers down the years (Clough, Shankly, Paisley, Fergie) have always been like that: ask them a question about football and they'll give you honest, open insights on the game and themselves.
As for the Man City question, Klopp showed respect to Guardiola and the City team as he should. The club may be corrupt but the manager and players are not. YNWA
Mad city players are scum singing about a Liverpool fan nearly getting killed. Hope they get stripped of there titles. Man-cheater city scum club scum fans
TheRealist 811 dude if Liverpool players ever sing about a fan nearly getting killed I’d never watch them again. Man-Cheater city scum cheating club with scum players
inner klopp: its a shock. they were suppose to be ban more than 10 years from europe and PL need to deduct their point last season and 2014.... i feel terrible how lenient UEFA to them
I remember getting the old crown paints t-shirt and the candy t-shirt in 1990 when last won the league I was 10 it's been a long long road I just hope now with the young players we have I can watch England win the European cup this summer the icing on the cake
@@iElia ah we have Alexander Arnold, Sancho who's probably the best teenager on the planet , Sterling , Rashford etc can see England dominating Europe for the next 10 years last world cup made the semis but the team was too young so now there about ready

I'm glad you said some of Liverpool's and not all. I'm a massive Liverpool fan & I agree some of us are complete idiots (just like some fans of every other team of course). Thank you for not saying we're all bad
I’ve noticed the preview picture sky have used makes Klopp looks like he’s smiling almost laughing which couldn’t be further from the way the interview went. Typical media
I've been a Barca fan since 21 years, but I have to accept that this LFC Team is Great in every Respect. Squad, Coach & Coaching Team, Analysis Team , Nutrition Experts , Doctors Team, Transfer Department, All Experts & FSG - Somehow the Right People at the Right Place at the Right Time. It seems like a Boston-based company that hired a talented German Engineer to build and develop the best High-Performance Engine in the world in Liverpool. And the Engineer has been working on his engine since 2015 and every year he gets closer to the goal. Meanwhile, the whole World looks at the LFC Machine and knows about its Horsepower. Now they come to Madrid Atletico with their Big Machine. Whether the Race is going well for us Spaniards is a question mark? Time will tell us the answer 😉
Shows what a classy human being Klopp is, the fact that he feels for Man City. The same Man City that have showed a lack of class and very little respect to us, particularly last season with little digs from the likes of Sterling, Kompany and Walker. Then there’s that offensive song their squad sung about us, which even included making fun of our title collapse and loss in Kiev. And the fact they refused to apologise. I certainly don’t feel sorry for that disgrace of a club, and I wish nothing but the absolute worst for them: a squad exodus, Pep leaving, loss of finances, and hopefully (but unlikely) a demotion to League 2
@@Eliot95 "Battered in the streets" literally refers to Sean Cox being attacked and put into a coma by Roma fans. The "victims" line is a reference to the Hilsborough disaster.
Wenger predicted this when city won there 1st prem he was mocked and laughed at accused of jealousy towards city Chelsea. He was right. I'd be interested to see if United wolves west ham and Everton are next. United are capable of spending like city because they are a big club with decades of success and a world wide fanbase only rivaled by real Madrid. But the downfall they've had and spending increasing with no success I wouldn't be shocked if they are next... and klopp knows this Liverpool spent big in today's market twice. And bought who klopp knew he'd improve.. some will say they've been lucky with the players they've bought all for a steal in hindsight.... but when you spend 140 million on Allison VVD and laughed at for over spending and go on to do what they've done... klopp is the best manager since SAF who himself said he was worried that Liverpool will become dominant again when klopp joined Liverpool. Class recognising class. I'm a gooner also
5:24 klopp says he really feels for them but if they hadn't been cheating ffp then they wouldn't have the squad they have and liverpool would have won the league last season
I hated liverpool, then I realised that I was jumping on the hate train, watched there games and started to appreciate their play. Sorry to all liverpool fans, from sadly a barca fan 😪
It is something that shows how good Klopp actually is. If we are level at halftime surely before the second he is making the relevant changes to win it
Well played Klopp. If roles were flipped, Pep would be criticize Liverpool for the same thing. Better to take the high road & focus on the rest of the season.
Yeah Pep was the one saying the UCL is easy to win when we were in the final trying downplay us, then a few weeks ago he makes a video with Aguero gushing over how much they want the UCL, they're so fake it's unreal, imagine winning the Prem and singing about LFC, we won the UCL and didn't give them a second thought, Klopp just got hammered on the tour bus.
Pep litterally praises Liverpool every chance he gets, so I don’t know what made you write that comment... You’re litterally just hating on Pep for the sake of hating.
@@victorpetersen1929 Are you on drugs, his players sung about us losing the final when they won the league, Pep then went on a mad one saying its easy to win the UCL to discredit LFC and Klopp, pull your head out your ass. bullshit, I'm a Liverpool supporter since the day I was born but Pep never says a bad word about Liverpool. Klopp said he feels sorry for the manager and players, they aren't the ones who handle the finances. I'm sure he isn't sorry about the guys who do.
@@toproudtooadmitmitsake1842 First off, please show me that clip, where Pep says "it is easy to win the champions league". We both know that is bullshit. Second off, if you watch ANY interview with Pep in the last couple off months, which regards Liverpool he will call them the best team in the world. Third, I really don't see what the players and the social media accounts have to do with Pep. It is not like Pep is running the twitter account. Stop scraping the barrel of incoherent situations to make Pep look like a a bad guy.

Pat Mahon since the title name change in 92, 6 teams have “won it”. If that’s the case, Spurs and Aston Villa have never won it either. Or Wolves. Oh and Everton.
@Pat Mahon LOL. Must be coming from some plastics. Or maybe a sad little manc trying to project his misery while the arch rival is doing so well(?) All I know is just it is a really good place that the team you root for can go 30yrs without any league titles and will only need 2 more after this one to be the best in England yet again. A place that you lot probably can only dream of.. 👌
Man City gonna be the biggest threat in Premierleague from next season on. They can 100% focus on Premierleague and don't have to rest players. They gonna be the biggest force for next 2 years now. This might give them momentum to dominate in the long-run
Once upon a time, there was a really prestigious football tournament called the European Cup, which was based on sporting excellence. It brought together outstanding teams from across the continent. To qualify teams first had to prove themselves by winning their own league, this truly was a competition for champions. With the glory though also came the opportunity for great wealth & eventually the principal of sporting excellence was overtaken by greed. The self-appointed elite of the time "the European Royalty" decided they wanted a greater share of the spoils & they wanted it guaranteed regardless of their performance! The grubby little cartel (later known as the G14) threatened to break away & form their own Super League, unless everyone else agreed to their demands! Feeling they had little choice, UEFA caved in & the"Champions" League was born. At the heart of this self-serving little cartel were 3 English clubs (Man United, Liverpool & Arsenal) & coincidentally the format of the new competition granted 3 places to English teams. It also changed from a straight knockout format to an initial group stage. So now not only could they still qualify by only finishing 2nd or 3rd in the Premier League, they were also guaranteed at least 6 lucrative fixtures each season. BOOM! The money started rolling in & the big 3 got fatter, as they disappeared over the horizon, leaving the rest of the league with little chance of ever challenging their increasing financial dominance! Then out of the blue, a wealthy Russian Oligarch, Roman Abramovich, rolled into town to bankroll Chelsea & gatecrash the party! With the gravy train now under threat, the greedy little threesome convinced UEFA to increase the English allocation to 4 places! Phew disaster averted, onwards & upwards, no harm done... That was until the "evil" Sheikh Mansour bought Manchester City with his unlimited "dirty oil money!"! Now with UEFA unable or unwilling to accommodate this latest unwelcome guest at the top table, a new strategy was required to preserve the dominance of the established elite. Without further a do, the "Financial Fair Play" was conceived! This had little to do with "fair play", turning a blind eye to debt ridden clubs & owners that systematically drained money out of the game! It was solely designed to stop wealthy owners investing in clubs & making them competitive; thus ensuring the lazy established elite remained unchallenged. Undeterred by the bogus nature of these new constraints targeted at them & any future investors, Manchester City embarked on transforming the club, with initial investment to break the cartel & putting top quality people in place, off the field as well as on it. In addition to breaking all records on the pitch, the club has now achieved commercial sustainability & delivered 4 years of profit. The club is now independently valued at over £2B (reportedly outstripping all the Premier League old-guard). This has shown a huge return on Sheikh Mansour's £1.2B investment & dispelling the lie of "financial doping". So what do the owners of the established "European Royalty" do now? Up their game? Risk their own money to meet the challenge? No! They utilise their stooges in the media to try & discredit City's achievements & demand UEFA do "something" to derail Citys' progress! Manchester City FC - Centurions Fourmidables Champions of England (again) FA Cup holders League Cup holders The best ran football club in the world! Thank you Sheikh Mansour, thank you Kaldoon & Thank you Pep Guardiola.
Yeah, what a lovely story, reality is they took over your club and used you to sports cleanse their image, their human rights abusing image. They breached FFP and accepted a fine which was then reduced for cooperation, they have now breached it again whilst committing fraud, so your little fairytale is bullshit. Everyone has the same rules and manages to break even without cheating or fraud, so here's an idea, follow the rules or don't enter the competition if you don't like the rules. You can try paint your owner as a hero all you like, the fact is noone falls for that bullshit, everyone knows exactly what they are and what they represent, people don't risk their own money because they don't cheat, it's not allowed, it's called sustainability so it's not just a bunch of sugar daddies throwing money at it for a hobby for status, or in your case for sports cleansing. Sick. All your achievements are tainted, you cheated to get them, liver in cloud cuckoo land, bro, it's funny. You have made profits that's right, with fake, artificially inflated sponsors, nice try buddy, again the world of delusion, you don't have a transfer net of 468m and claim to be sustainable, you're not winning the UCL and receiving 100m in prize money, you're just a normal club, winning the league which made less money than second place last year because you had less games broadcasted, you really are delusional.
@@mathrockmaniac7643 Pep and your players will abandon you, why would they stay, they didn't ask for your owners to cheat... Good luck, enjoy delusion.

All the best managers talk openly about all aspects of football, they can't help passing on knowledge with their love of the game, they're not anxiously clinging on to one tactic and hoping no-one cracks the code.
I believe you now need 5 wins from 12 games. Or 15 points from 36. That's if City win all their remaining games. Try to remain dignified boys. Some of the comments below don't do you credit
