I take a different tack: Klopp has to do 12 of these interviews after 4 hrs of work - and they can be dumb or provocative questions - from basic journalists - looking to get under his skin. I don’t support Liverpool - but I have no issue with Klopps behavior. Most managers do this - it’s often cut out and they go to a decent question. IMO - it’s small minded (generally English) snark on comments sections calling Klopp “a disgrace”. Klopp is a giant who made English football and Liverpool so much better - and he’s entirely likable (has been for 15 years). Football is 24-7 pressure / and there are dumb interviewers and anonymous posters… (myself included).

Klopp has started losing his cool and patience I've noticed that recently

He's got passion and heart and when he loses a big game and someone provokes him afterwards, he sometimes loses his cool. He always apologizes afterwards. His passion is what makes him what he is. There is not a single team he has trained that would not take him back in a heartbeat (management, fans and players - I fully realize I am only taking about three teams). He has lifted each of his teams to an entirely different level and helped them to become sustainable in their success (Mainz -> first division Bundesliga ever since, Dortmund -> regular CL quarterfinalist at least, Liverpool -> international heavyweight and regular PL contender) and he's done all that with far more limited means than other managers. So pipe down, wait for his apology if you are upset. This is just the media blowing things out of proportion.

Klopp doesn't care anymore after he once said after his leaving announcement. He was running out of energy and sick of hearing these journalists asking him dumb questions for past few years now. Plus where was uproar last weekend, when he made sarcastic comment on Sky Sports for hiring Ex Ref Mike Dean as a pundit? Klopp doesn't care about anyone feelings, because he gonna have fun and tell some home truths what he actually thinks of them knowing he's leaving end of the season.

The interviewer asking a provocative question. Klopp answering the way the Interviewer wanted him to react. The interviewer: WHY SO PROVOCATIVE?!

Not in great shape was not aimed at the reporters body in the slightest but at the reporters questions & mentality. If the reporter would have asked do you think match fatigue had any part in you losing the game? he would have gotten a better response from Klopp. Klopp has done thousands of press conferences over the years and knows reporters are trained to high standards & equally knows this guy was trying it on.

His English isn’t his strong suit but obviously he’s intimating that the reporter is asking rhetorical questions. Klopp is only human and these reporters can be annoying

You can tell that he is tired because of his reactions and quite bad decision during matches. What did he try doing with Van Dijk as a striker? He didnt even had one header and provoked a shattered defense and United´s goal. And his Gakpo obssession is just nonsense. Anyway, thanks for everything Kloppo!

Klopp's various outbursts are a disgrace for the whole of Germany. He has been doing this for many years. Even back then at his first club Mainz 05. I'm writing this as a German because I'm ashamed of him. A truly exceptional, charismatic coach. No question about it! But as a Christian, which he explicitly describes himself as, may he also reflect on these Christian principles in his year of recovery. Or someone close to him will have to teach him! His wife, for example. In any case, as a German national coach, he is completely unsuitable to represent his, my country in this condition. We Germans don't want to have to be ashamed of our national coach after every game we lose.

he didnt call him "out of shape" its meant as the reporter wasnt properly equipped for this interview in Klopp's opinion. some things can be misunderstood because of the language barrier. and the question was dumb, really dumb even.

its was pure provocation and the guy gets what he deserves.
