@@patrickbering1988 I was reading his rap sheet last night and it's pretty long. He shot at his nephew, ran over the mother of one of his children and those are just two of the horrible crimes from the list. Everyone with a moral compass and a brain wanted this guy off the street and some sort of justice for the families and everyone affected by this guy's actions.

@@baconoverlord7982 Idk what time they started this morning, but she said they'd reached their decisions at about 930. So a few hours last night and maybe 1 today? I'm sure they spent time making sure they were marking the paperwork correctly - easy to mess up with over 140 forms (2/count - g or ng).

99% of the time was probably taken interviewing the jurors over the reddit post. I dare say the judge will give him the maximum sentence. No court will ever consider an appeal after his bs, and I doubt any parol board in the future will be bothered with him either. Good. I don't think he's going to find prison pleasant.

She should have had them go back in and deliberate. You can't tell me that they all came up with guilty verdicts in that short amount of time. There were 76 charges. Insane. No one should be charged with that many crimes.

He was so lost in reality and use to manipulating life and humans to do whatever he wanted them to do , he just wanted to involve as many ppl to make this about HIM!!!! Narcissism at its finest. Confuse and blame was one of his top tactics. He was and is a scum , I wish Congress wldve passed the bill (about 8 yrs ago) to put ppl in jail b4 they did the crime based off analytics. @@DarkAnon100 I watched the majority of the trial. I conclude that he really didn't believe the consequences and believed he was right. He believed running over people was right, he believed hitting his baby mama was right, he felt talking disrespectfully to the judge was right. Because according to his brain, anything against him is wrong. I really want to know how someone 40 years old could go his whole life this way without one person stepping up to him, even complete strangers. Like, if he's at Starbucks, he'd walk in front of the line and demand free coffee for life.

Honestly, I believe it was God's will that he represented himself. He was his own undoing. His representing himself showed not only the jury, but the country who this man really is. With how he showed how he handled his anger in court makes me think it was only a matter of time before someone got hurt. Then, turns out, he punched his ex and her friend. His anger has been a problem for a long time and it was on full display in court.

Just before this video began, DB actually asked if his “shock” shackles could be removed. That fool actually thought he’d walk out of there a free man. That creature is a true monster. He is the live “boogeyman” in the nightmares of those children he rode over. No child should have to endure that type of pain and terror. He acted so quiet during this video. Of course, we all remember how he acted during the victim statements. Rolling his eyes, clapping his hands, motioning for them to wrap up their statements…..no remorse for any victim. He can talk about his belief in God, carry his bible but no one that knows God would ever act that way. He is not mentally ill. He is a truly evil creature.

@@curtconn8149 I pray 🙏 in this instance the counseling already helping community, will extend counseling care to jurors. The judge needs a break at a spa. She dealt w him while pregnant. Probably dreaming of a stiff drink daily. Actually imo she is a fierce woman. A force to be reckoned in a courtroom. He will get auto appeal- denied . No mistrial for him. Her patience, while seemingly appeared weak . Judge Darrow assured that there will be no mistrial. She put honor above her personal feelings.

Thank you Judge Dorow!!! You did an amazing job. It will be difficult for him to move his appeal forward because of how Judge Dorow presided over this trial. She knew what she was doing. So many were upset with her and thought she was being lenient with him. It was so the record would show that at no time were his rights ever infringed upon. He has little to no leg to stand on regarding any type of appeal he might try and put forward. Justice was served today.

So, at end of day yesterday 6:30 pm, they ate dinner and took a little break and decided they’d like to get some sleep and deliberate in the morning. They were done in one hour! Unanimous on all 76 (or 79) counts that he was guilty

Bet the judge is loving every second reading out these verdicts, finally getting a small amount of satisfaction after everything this man has forced her to put up with these last few weeks. She must be ecstatic she no longer has to see his face or listen to his constant ranting, objections, & illogical nonsensical arguments. Finally Brooks is getting just a tiny taste of what he deserves, after the pain he has inflicted on so many. For the first time he really is no longer in control, and it won’t be the last time either 👏🏼

God bless the jury for enduring this nightmare. It's bad enough watching clips here and there, but to watch this display of pure evil day in and day out must have taken a mental toll. The judge was tested daily by this POS and not once did she allow herself to give in to the rage that is probably within her. Imagine her losing her cool. That would be a victory for db and a loss for the victims and their families and quite frankly, everyone in society. Thank you, Judge Dorow, for doing an outstanding job. If it was a mistrial he would just have to go through another trial. You don’t automatically walk free on a mistrial. That being said I’m glad she didn’t lose it because the victims and their families did not need this crap prolonged.

I am so thankful the jury could see right through this pile of crap! To the city as a whole, I'm so so very sorry for your losses and the injuries he's caused. I pray for healing and now that he will be sent away I pray the town can heal and trust like before. I know for a fact when something like this happens it's very hard to go back the way it was. things will never be the same, he's put a whole in everyone's heart. My friends and I gathered to watch the trial and it was a 3 circus ring.. what a way to drag it out knowing how it will end. Like if someone drives drunk and kills someone they had control of themselves when they decided to start drinking and that willful act makes them liable for everything else Chronic mental health issues are different, if someone is incapable of registering morals or smt else because they insane kts not necessarily their fault. like if someone had a psychotic break, or de realization episode (things that effect how they perceive reality) they may not have actually known what they were doing. Also the insanity defense doesn't let you walk free and alot of state mental hospitals can be rough, and also there's plenty of wicked mentally ill people in prison because prison worsen those outcomes cause its... well its prison

However this was AFTER he'd tried to cast doubt on if he was even the driver for the entirety of the proceedings up to that point. He also made no mention of a stuck throttle during his initial interrogations after arrest even though he made statements that effectively admitted that he drove through the parade.

The feed I was watching cut out for a second, what I noticed most was that it seemed the judge may have misspoke immediately afterwards as to the count and verdict being read. I don't know exactly what happened I missed about 00:45 of the feed and it seems she was on count 2 then mentioned count 3 briefly and then we went on to count 4. Edit: this clarified things.

Seems to me as the verdicts got read out, he was basically forced to come to the realization that this was 'it' and he would no longer be able to try and talk his way out of this.
