Yeah possibly but I'd have assumed a likely flash on it, when it didn't my first thought was sack it. Mr T may well have a better answer to this one than me. On a £15 I'd have expected the flash but would have e probs pushed it in the same situation. I'd say the main reason I didn't is board frequency on a £5 10p Barcrest is erratic at best and before you know it you've burned a board and a futher 7 or 8 quid into it, then forced to see it out again. I know the £15s could be similar in some respects but the stnw always gave you a reasonable get out and if that wasn't an option forcing it back wouldn't generally be too much. I've seen the £15 pushed over and over on a day and not run so it's probs a difficult one. I defo approach these rebuilds differently to how I tackle many orig programs.

A skill stop start board is just a fairly happy board. It doesn't signify a jackpot board or a streak. The streak is almost always shown by a shazam

They are definitely one of the best examples of a machine that becomes 'tired' ,as we used to say, over time and play. JP repeats and streaks becomes ever more infrequent imo. Clones included. I'd probably put Top Dog, Cheese and Hi Flyer in there too.

Ye I agree with jus it don't mean it's streaking. To be honest these don't mess about with a streak it either flashes or it don't streak. With 5ers the skill stop realy means less than 15 imo. Because of what I said in comment with James they can go 8 or 9 quid between boards so they never realy are in a state of deadness if ya get what i mean. They very regularly start on add again or higher. Just means it's happy but don't mean it will pay jackpot on top of trail right away. With these best thing to do is get red sevens of stn or seven stepper. And go for a flash. Its quicker step to getting a fiver of them. And it's not that difficult to get red sevens stn setup. Seen so many ppl play the 5er out the same as 15. Not realising you don't need to force it to the top of the trail and any 5er can set it off. Same with cash beast 5er version. You can take prize belt 4th zone and aslong as you bank a 5 quid win the streak can start.

@@mrT-qp1mf totally agree. Add £5 Austin Powers in to the mix also. Far worse machines in general but more opportunities to start a streak. James probably got more or as much collecting that £2.40 repeat than if it had actually flashed, maybe 🤔. Funny old things the fruities sometimes, part of what makes em great 😃
