I don’t think any of the RU-vidrs I’ve been watching had ever featured Kawagoe. This is such an interesting video! Thank you for sharing about this quaint quintessentially “old Japan” place. Definitely a must-see for those who plan to go to Japan.
TabiEats likes to visit Kawagoe and they have several videos on Kawagoe street food and staying there. Because of them, Hawaiʻiʻs food vloggers Amanda & Felix Eats also made a video about the street food there.
Watching Japan by Food is the best! Shizuka-san just makes me so happy, love her personality 🥰❤️ Thank you so much for another aweosme video 🙇🏻♀️✨ God bless 🙏🏻
Nice place! Definitely will add this to my itinerary for next Japan trip! Thanks for the info Shizuka & Japan By Food! Always the best channel about Japan.
As to why this channel has only 128k subs is a mystery. I have been watching Shizuka and her adventures in Japan for quite a while now and its entertaining, informative and fun to watch, i know of some channels with garbage content and they have way more subs, so what seems to be the problem here?
Yay finally, you visited Kawagoe, I grew up in Kawagoe and I went to Kindergarten and elementary schools. I wish you visited Kameya for a Japanese traditional snack.
Your yukata looked so amazing. Beautiful colours and design. I would love to try the sweet potato chips with the cream. The texture and shape are so cool I'd love it even if the taste didn't knock me off my feet.
went Uji recently after seeing your video and I wasn't disappointed! will definitely go Kawagoe next time next! love that you show all these places outside of kyoto and tokyo that are not as crowded!
Been there a week ago. Pretty crowded even on weekdays. The Tobu discount pass from Ikebukuro is convenient and Tobu staffs were very nice. Definitely worth to spend a day there.
Such a very detailed and delightful trip you had to the old town. Lovely wooden houses 🏘 with plenty of food stalls for all of the unquie Japanese food ❤. Greetings from England 🇬🇧 Simon and Beth ❤️ 😀 🙋
Thank you for exploring somewhere other than Inner Tokyo. I lived in Tokyo but spent most of my free time away from there. There is so much to see. The real Japan is not in big cities.
We never been to kawagoe!!! Looked so cool love the old charming buildings there!!!! 👍🏻 That sweet potatoes cheese cake!!!! 👅 P.s we’re is the bosses kimono!!!! 😊
@@JapanbyFood oh man..... I guess it was on accident then ☺️ it is a simple phrase that doesnt have to be reference, but.... the part about "lick it like a lolipop" ! It definitely caught my attention and for some reason struck me as an intentional reference lol. I love all of your videos always, please perpetuate and proceed FOREVERRRR 😂🙏🌷💙
It's so strange to see people walk down the streets of Japan and think it's so normal. I know that when you are born in a place you think everything is normal, but my dream is to go to Japan and I would spend HOURS and HOURS just sitting in one spot enjoying the city's urban life. Whatever it is. I love Japan!
It’s easy. Go anywhere. The behaviors and likes of the gaijin RU-vidrs have ZERO in common with normal life here. Why are they so childish? If you know why, please share. Pathetic is the word that comes to mind.
@@snooglypathetic is spouting racial slurs on RU-vid at anyone let alone people who are just trying to appreciate your culture. Say thank you for stimulating much needed tourism funds and go eat some ramen old man.
The title says Kawagoe is 30 min away from Tokyo, but you mention at the beginning of the video that it's an hour away. Wondering why title says it's 30 min away....is this an error?
@@mikeymutual5489 haters gonna hate. You can also get some pretty good pizza and nepali food out there too if you absolutely cannot stomach Japanese food on your visit to Japan.
I'm thinking about how Japan can provide fresh and delicious 🍳 food. Apart from cooking, go to the drugstore or the supermarket just before closing. There are a lot of cheap and 😂good products.
