i bring good news! david tennant has a podcast aptly named "david tennant does a podcast" where he talks to a lot of the people he admires and has worked with, including olivia colman and catherine tate! it's really great and if you'd like, look it up!
@@habichiblah7534 damn shes consistently then because even random people she meets at parties or grocery stores have mentioned she's exactly the same everywhere. You've probably been sorrounded by a lot of fake people
@@dwalker1974 Hmmm, an actress randomly meeting people who find out she's exactly like the characters played by her in everything - who'd have thought, eh....
@@habichiblah7534 you must be the only person on earth thinking bad of her so probably you had a fight with her in preschool and you're still bitter about it...
I absolutely adore Olivia Colman. Back when I was an 'entertainment journalist', basically, my job was interviewing actors, directors, screenwriters etc.; in fact some of the biggest film and TV stars of the time. Never, through all those years, did I ever meet someone as honest, open and natural as Ms Colman off-screen. Not one ounce of pretence, false modesty; indeed, no false character traits at all, nor was there the slightest hint of an 'actor's persona' that so many stars bring out when they are being interviewed about their work. I didn't see her being herself until after I'd finished watching all her episodes of 'The Crown'. I was totally gobsmacked by the sudden realisation that Olivia was such a fantastic actor. The character of QEII being light years away from her 'real' self. It instantly brought to mind the sequence in 'The Crown' where she complains to her husband that she was physically unable to cry when visiting a coal mining town after a deadly disaster. Olivia wears her 'heart on her sleeve' when not working. She so richly deserves all the awards and accolades she has earned. Her 'Letters Live' appearances are also simply brilliant. I'd pay money to watch her 'act' the phone book. Thank you so much for this video. Bill H.
Olivia is such a bundle of joy...the sweetest and most infectious personality. How can you not smile and feel happy when Olivia is smiling and giggling..she is such a beautiful person, inside and out 🥰🥰🥰
In my opinion Olivia Colman and Helena Bonham Carter are two of the greatest actresses who ever walked this earth. Both are absolutely exceptional in The Crown in addition to every project they do.
@@MichaelAury So? Both ways are correct, even if they are simply called the Doctor in universe. The character has been credited as 'Dr Who' for a very long time. Are you going to tell Peter Capaldi that he shouldn't call himself Doctor Who?
@@rkah6187 Yes, I will tell Peter Capaldi that if I have the chance lmao because no self-respecting fan of the show called 'The Doctor' 'Doctor Who'. If you call the various timelord incarnations Doctor Who then you obviously don't watch the show or know how it works in the fandom.
@@MichaelAury Or maybe you could just move on and let people enjoy things without feeling compelled to tell them they're not 'real fans' if they don't see things the same way you do. :)
I think she is one of the few actresses which is loved by whole Hollywood. When she is on stage I see literally everyone in the audiance laughing and thinking "Oh my gosh, is she cuuuuute."
She takes the words "adorable",endearing","darling" and "hilarious" to a level beyond the reach of almost any other mortal, past or present.I just love her,you know? Has anyone seen her episode on Who Do You Think You Are? Crying as she reads a letter written by an ancestress several generations back, describing the pain she felt on being parted from her children.
She’s so lovely and full of joy! I remember seeing her years ago and always had the feeling she would become a great actress, given the right parts, and she has!! I’m so pleased for her! She seems like a decent person too.
She's a delight. A talented, funny, warm, charming, and beautiful bundle of joy. Thank you to every director and producer who contributed to her becoming internationally famous.
She's a UK comedy legend, I was so pleased when she suddenly became a movie star! That Mitchell and Webb Look was my favourite..... Her reactions to Richard Ayoade's book in that Graeme Norton interview were gold!
Sadly, I'd only just learned of the existence of her magnificence in the recent film, "The Lost Daughter". Olivia captured me from her first scenes, and I need to watch all she's ever been in! She's incredible!
What if she's just not. She's just professional. Like this as a person, all wild and joyful and scatterbrained, but fully focussed and able to use her profound memory skills in her work. No need to posit anything else.
I think if she got up and did a short acceptance speech and got off stage, everyone there would be disappointed. It’s like finding out your favorite show got cancelled mid season.
Olivia & David/Helena have such great chemistry honestly Both of the pairs feel like they're always having a great time when they're around each other, and that is precious :3
I’ve not actually seen Olivia in a movie, only on Graham Norton and acceptance speeches, she’s hilarious and natural, says dumb things occasionally, hahaha she very sweet! I love her! 🤩
Olivia Coleman is SO BAD at being a "movie-star" ... because she's clearly far too grounded, normal, modest and overall unimpressed with the idea of stardom.

Yes there is a big difference between being a movie star and an actor/actress.
Olivia is currently filming in my home town Margate!!! Along side Colin Firth and Sean Ward!! Director the most amazing Sam Mendes !!! Our Seafront is just wow for what they need to do.My daughter even walked home along the seafront at the end of February in the snow!!But the biggest claim to fame I can say is ( my husband) fitted out Olivia’s Choice of place to stay ( he is a carpenter and I’m proud to say a golden globe/ let alone all her amazing achievements is/has stayed at the place my husband helped achieve!
@@beccapotts7081 I no ( made a bit of an error! 🤭 it’s Sam Mendes directing the film not Sean ( he’s the singer 🤣)yes Benbon brothers!! Good old days!I’ve just corrected my mistake! X
I didn’t realise how hilarious Olivia is just by being herself, I actually had tears rolling down my face from laughing!! This video was brilliant, loved every second of it!!
