Played at my dads funeral yesterday. McVicar was his favorite film. Rest in peace dad, love you always.

Haven't heard this song in over 30 years. I missed it. I was in my teenage years, now in mid 50's. I close my eyes and it feels like yesterday. Long live Roger Daltrey and the Who!!!!!! Not bad for an 80 year old❤❤❤

This is one for me is surely one of the best soundtrack of the all times. So sad marginally underrated.

I'm 49 now. Back in the day, The Who was my favorite band. From the time I was 7, till around 16(the Who had claimed "break up" and Springsteen had taken over the world!!)I devoured any thing I could get my hands on, even remotely Who related!! Thus, my discovering the movie McVicar and the great soundtrack. Shit, when I first heard "Waiting for a Friend"?I couldn't stop coming home after school, throwing it on the turntable and air-guitaring the crap out of it at full volume. And wondering why it never got much, if rarely any!, airplay here in the states??😢 Right now my girl and me having difficult time. (I relapsed on booze/heroin after few years sober😢😢😢). Was gonna send her "Just a dream away", before I call it a night. THE WHO!!! LONG LIVE ROCK, INDEED!!

My husband passed almost 16 months ago, and this song always makes me think that I can dream and see him anytime! I almost played this at my husbands funeral, but instead we had a huge celebration of life party the day after the funeral and it played a couple of times! Sorry for you lose... maybe your dad and my husband are in heaven partying together!

Absolutely love this film. The music alone is phenomenal. As an ex convict myself. I can relate to every word, every song and the time served I done. Thank you roger daltery. LONG LIVE THE WHO

Excellent album in all respects -- Daltrey in top form, great arrangements, just great songs, period. The Who said "we won't get fooled again." Somehow, we did, but I hold on to their dream.
