This week i am repairing a Zippo style Lighter that was found on the ground in the beach, it´s an extremely rusty lighter wich is a copy of famous Zippo. This old lighter is a Jiantai brand lucky stone edition. Restoring the lighter took me about a week, one of the most time demanding part was due to the missing lucky stone so I had to make a new one for this rare zipo lighter.
I had to remove lots of rust from metal, rust removal was by sandblast, then i clean and repair the insert and nickel plated then i polished the case, then you can watch how to refill a zippo and reassemble.
I enjoy very much restoring old things specially zippo lighters, i am very happy with the result of this brass zippo restoration.
