Where in the Bible is it talking about people waiting at the gates of heaven because of one issue or another?

Good lessons but no where in the Bible was it said people will stay at the gate heaven to settle with those they are to forgive

I need clarity, if Pastor John died with unforgiveness on his garment why did the Angel tell him he had to wait at the gate for the person in question to come up there? I thought after death comes judgment.. this seems more like saying there is a place in between heaven and earth. Please elaborate for educational purposes to understand this message at the end. It is NOT SCRIPTURAL to say that anyone would remain at the gate off heaven until another person comes. This one is a BIG LIE. Please the actors should not corrupt the good work in their hands. After death, people go to heaven or hell. No body is kept at the gate to wait for anyone or anything. That one is complete falsehood.
