Polygel is honestly the best thing out there. It's more patient than acrylic, but just as strong and workable. It's honestly the best "training wheels" type of material to use if you want to eventually use acrylic. I did my nails using polygel (with a brush, not these extensions) and after a year I started nail school and worked with acrylic for the first time in my life. All I had to learn was the monomer to acrylic ratio and how to work on a time limit before the acrylic hardens. But the feeling of sculpting and shaping the acrylic was already there, thanks to the polygel practice. If you are thinking of starting a nail journey, start with polygel!
But isn’t this way better than acrylic and safer for the health of ur nails? Cos acrylic breaks and the filing of ur real nails especially in the centre of the nails to apply the acrylic fucks up ur nails. W the polygel ur literally creating a whole Ass nail for urself that looks so natural and also used to help support growth for weak nails right ?
a full polygel tutorial would be a amazing. I can paint full designs on my right hand with my left but god help me if I can get a single polygel'd nail to turn out haha
This is the first time ive seen long natural nails like mine. Everyone ive ever met is always surprised i have natural nails and i never see ANY videos with natural nails. Natural Nail Gang where you at??
WHY DIDN'T I SEE THE VIDEO HOW TO FIX CRACKS WITHOUT CUTTING😭 I WAS GROWIN THEM OUT FOR 4 MONTHS THEN ONE CRACKED AND I CUT IT OFF BUT I CAN'T HANDLE MY NAILS AT DIF LAGHTS SO THEY ALL WENT BY😭
I'm confused, I learned that we need to leave our cuticles in peace because they prevent bacterial infection under the nail. Is that actually not true? 😮
It only happens when there's a wound, but it's not just cutting cuticles, it can be any would near the nail and cuticle. I've been cutting my cuticles for years and occasionally injured myself but nothing like that ever happened
You have to push back all of that skin to get a good adherence of the product on the nail plate but not everybody cuts off the tissue afterwards. Technically speaking, you're not supposed to because it is the barrier to prevent infection but personally, I hate it so I cut it. Wash hands regularly if you do cut it and should be all good.
Need tips or a whole step routine for poly gel bought a lot on Amazon I try n try doesn’t look good or to thin by the time I kinda get it out of prodcut
i have that exact nail kit and its extremely easy to do my nail but she make it look like only professionals can do it also this is not hate im subbed and im a fan
Dude I don't understand how you make this look so easy everytime I put polygel on my nails soon as I hit my nail on the fake nail onto my real nail that polygel just spreads everywhere underneath the cuticle and everywhere. How do you get yours not to go like that I'm not putting too much I put just a tiny bit and it wasn't even enough thinking and I put too much I just I'm still practicing but I don't get it
Dude theres no way. I literally have no nails. Like, without the white part, you can barely tell they exist. Im so jealous of you in the good way, your natural nails look amazing!
yall quick tip if your natural nail cracked just put a bandage on then the next day take a quick bath n wet your cracked nail still with the bandage on then after the shower take it off and your natural nail will be fixed
I’m the same way with gel extensions! They pop right off in a day or two. Poly gel prep is key. Mine stay on for weeks and then I just fill the growth like I would with acrylic. I do have an efile which I find is key.
@@minahilxbts5925 probably dehydrating, roughing the nail surface and using a bond - another important thing is like shown in this video, shaping it so that there is a seamless slope away from the cuticle (and staying clear of the cuticle with any gel is important too) :)
I just want people to know PolyGel is easier to use but not necessarily "healthier" than acrylic. The healthiest thing you can do is not put nails on AT ALL and just use serums and vitamins
OK here's my problem loveeee polygel but every time my nail starts growing out underneath when I try to remove it it's impossible my nail always feels super damaged afterwards so I end up cutting it off anyway how can I fix this polygel is so good to make your manicure look complete when you have broken nails anyone have any tips tried soaking in acetone gently using a electric nail file I am now clueless ❤
Oh god I hate poly gel, so sticky and difficult to work with lol. I always get it underneath my natural nail and I dont have a spinning file thing that you do, and my nail beds are flatter than the nail extensions, so they never stay on my nails.
They’re generally called Dual Forms,…. But here she called them ‘upper formsz’ I’ve never heard that in my life. But search Dual Forms and results should generate.
my polygel keeps on popping off, I do my dry mani, then apply.dehydrator and primer and than polygel.. but it keeps popping off like.a sticker (i have bitten nails)
is there any way to save a natural nail other poly gel or acrylic? acrylics r my worst nightmare because they’re so damaging to the nail, and i’m scared of polygel because i’m uneducated about them and fear them for the same reason i do acrylics
I love my beautiful long healthy nails and I've always done my own manicures and nail polish/change but if a few nails chip/break I just file all my nails down and start again 😄 like I don't see the point of loading an already weak nail (s) with gel and 💩
no, I'm the same. i also don't like overly long nails that pass the nail beds too much, a little long is fine but too long is absolutely a no from me. idk, it's just annoying to look at lol but yeah i get your point
