Just found this as I'm prepping to lead this song tomorrow at worship (Ringgold, GA church of Christ). It's difficult to find acapella gospel, and renderings that are faithful to the original, so it's a breath of fresh air to come across your version. This is excellent, brothers and sisters! Great blending of voices & your timing is spot on (you stayed together very well!) Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work. God bless your continued efforts.
@@baconbap “Oh come on” what? Do you have a problem with what I said? I’m barely 16, and not that it’s any of your business, but I haven’t always been “okay” and Satan has relentlessly attacked my family. I’m already doing all of that, but I really don’t understand why you felt the need to say it, as if I’m some extremist who needs to calm down.
I don't know how many time I repeat this song, This reminds me of my childhood at home we were blessed with all the voices my late father would lead a family choir, and this song was one of his favorite songs, as I play this song I even hear his voice, I dearly miss him. Hope to meet him in heaven one of these days 😢, glory be to God. Beautiful song beautiful choir beautiful voices, oh lamp of God I come., I come
We have a few different hymn books (Sacred Selections - red & blue books) but the reason you can't find some of them is because our much newer song book is custom made by our own congregation. If your meeting house has a projector, The Paperless Hymnal has the majority of the songs we use.
I sincerely hope Mainoo is not looking up to Rashford. If I were to advice him, go look up to the likes of Scholes, Xavi, Makelele and Seedorf. These are top notch midfielders who you can look up to. Don't go looking up to a pro who's trying really hard to show he's not one.
