I have loved this hymn for years, but I am blown away by this version! I am grieving for my husband who died last April and I was listening to this and crying..... Then I was singing..... And worshipping.... ..And feeling totally loved by the God who says ' BLESSED are those who mourn for they will be comforted'!

this song alone started a new part of my life. for months i felt lonely,depressed,and just empty. when i heard this at church, i broke down and cried. not out of sadness, or depression, but i was actually feeling JOY!!!! that was one of the happiest moments of my life, because i finally found someone to accept me for who i am. sorry for the long comment, but i just had to say it.PRAISE THE LORD, OUR GOD!!!!!!

I am 60 years old and this was a song we sang at Green Acres Free Methodist Church when I was a child. I can still hear my grandpa's beautiful tenor voice singing it. Thank you for posting it. God Bless ❣️
