One of the best bands in history. We loved the 80s and we listened DM all the time, and still do. We have seen them in more concerts than any other group. Through 80s, 90s been to many shows and every time it was absolutely amazing. Talented, timeless and ageless. Love it, and can't get enough of their music, no pun intended.
Why is everyone commenting about Dave and his drug abuse when he's worked solidly since the 90s to stay clean (and he's been successful in that). No one else is paying attention to the fact that firstly, he's aging. Secondly, only a few years ago he had cancer? Thirdly, we have no idea if he has other health conditions. Finally, he has a full time life around the clock being a dad, looking after his family, making music, travelling the globe, performing for millions... The drug abuse shouldn't even come into it and I think people are being really unfair. I honestly find him inspiring. The fact that he was in such a dark place, he's come back from that and become a new person and he's still going strong after going through hell and back. Honestly there needs to be more people promoting a clean life style as he does. He's really turned his life around and continues to do what he loves and that in itself makes his performances beautiful.

What's with all this hate on Dave Gahan about the drug abuse? He's been clean since Ultra, and of course this is going to be different their performance style has changed over the years. Young Depeche Mode performing this song was more natural since that was the style at the time.
