She is WAY too calm in talking with him. After all the humiliation, neglect, and wishy washy attitude of the hubby anyone one of us would have hauled a$$ on him and told him to scram. Don't darken the doorway again. If he loves his ex so much, remarry her then. If I wanted something that wishy washy, I'd buy a new washing machine. The spin cycle is more entertaining than this mouse man. She needs to cut her losses and throw him out like yesterday's trash. He's disrespected and humiliated her enough. If her mom and MIL are so keen on having her stay in that awful marriage, then they can marry him themselves.

"You've misunderstood my mother" "She's a child, she'll understand who's good to her" he's excusing his mother, ex-wife and bratty daughters behaviour towards his wife and putting the blame on *her* and doesn't think there's a problem?! What a weak willed man. He knows that the other three he'll have to placate a lot if he doesn't side with them but his current wife is someone he expects to just take it over and over again to 'keep the peace' when in reality it's just giving the toxic shrews in his life what they want at his current wife's expense and he knows it and keeps doing it but blames *her* for noticing and no longer being ok with it. He is a poor excuse for a husband and I hope she doesn't forgive him because he doesn't seem even the littlest bit contrite since he's still defending the shrews and blaming her.

the drama is 当婆婆遇上妈之欢喜冤家 or "When the mother-in-law meets the mother-in-law's happy enemy" spoiler: The reason why she had a miscarriage is the stepdaughter ran away from home and she found the stepdaughter, but the stepdaughter ran into the street and she saved her. A car ran into her that cause her to have a miscarriage. After her intention for divorce, her mother and her mother-in-law did things to have her stay in the marriage but it didn't work. The ex-wife of her husband took the daughter (her stepdaughter). The husband had an accident at work, and she decided that she love him and not to divorce him. In the end, after 3 months, she got pregnant again. Also, the husband was with her when she have a miscarriage (when she was in surgery and after when she was in the hospital room) but she didn't want him to stay with her and he left.
