I had let my wavy hair grow out so it was all 50 shades of grey, then I underwent chemo and it all fell out. It’s just started to grow back, I’m looking forward to seeing what colour and texture it has now. I love seeing women with their natural colour.

I’m 52 and haven’t coloured my hair for over a year now, and it feels wonderful! So liberating. I just decided one day I no longer wanted to put chemicals on my head. 💜

When you were talking about it’s our energy and how we decide what we feel. You reminded me of my mom. She was very much of manifesting good health. She passed at the age of 91. No medications. She even mowed her yard 3 days before she passed in her own bed, in the room and house she was born in.

I agree about "flipping" our brain or thought process. Personally, when I find myself going down that rabbit 🐰 hole, I think of things that I'm grateful for, I look at my surroundings and speak my gratefulness out loud...even if just for a plant, or my pup or fresh water or the fact that I woke up this morning 😊 There is so much good in this universe and the more we put our collective energy into acknowledging that "good" the more it will present itself! Have a beautiful weekend...find peace in every moment ❤

Hi, I love that you did all that furniture moving - I can’t wait for help either! Patsy looks lovely in her new bed. Reminds me of when I bought new beds for my two dogs, a small dog and a medium one, the bigger dog tucked himself into the small bed and the small dog was lost in the much bigger bed! They do make you laugh.❤xxx

I went to see my cardiologist the other day. He asked me if I do any exercise. I told him, no, not really. I told him I do move furniture! He asked me if I had help and I said, nope, I just do! I've moved all the furniture in my living/dining room. Didn't like it, so I moved it ALL back! He didn't say anything just typed in his notes! I always move furniture around. I feel it changes the chi/vibes/energies in the room.

I’m like you. I just do it myself. I’m 115 lbs and 78 yrs old. Been doing it my whole life. I decluttered my house. All the things I had were weighing me down. I felt so much better after I got rid of it.

I haven't colored my hair since I've turned 50....I 15 years ago ,, flat out refused...so sick of coloring...my hair is great...love my gray

I am in Australia and just found your channel. I am in my late 70’s and feel exactly the same about the state of the world and my ability to change anything. I do not watch the news and very little tv at all. I love to read and during Covid, discovered that I am a mixed media artist. I live in a unit with a small garden and, as you, I have moved and cleared out ‘stuff’ to make things more accessible and open. I will visit again.

That couch looks like it was made to be there by the small stove. That will be so cozy this winter! The hutch looks gorgeous in the kitchen, too. One of the things I've always liked about your home is how you move the furniture around in your sitting room quite often. It's nice to let the corners air! Like you, I live alone, and I often wonder how I manage to move, lift and shift some of the bigger pieces in my home, on my own. I don't have the patience to wait for the cavalry!

I was thinking your hair was looking particularly lovely in this video. I've been in painting mode lately. I had forgotten how a fresh coat of paint can make me smile.

I stopped dying my hair 4 years ago and it was the best decision ever! I turn 60 this year and my hair is so much healthier. I love my grey hair and I hope you love yours too! It’s so nice not to have chemicals on your head.

Great video. I have cancer and I do the same thing.. I search my brain for happy memories and I go there. I think it takes a little practice but once you get it mental and physical well being benefit.

I'm 79 and I just moved all my furniture around. Staying fit and healthy is almost my priority. Like you, I have a large garden, a lovely little old house, and drawing painting and craft works. I don't want to ever have to stop, (probably inevitable one day) but until then I will keep at it. And I also am shocked by the state of things in this world. I wish all these ego maniacs would just disappear.🦘🐌🐞🪶🦋🦜🕊️🍄🐝

Grey is good. I haven’t done mine for years. Have grey on both sides. I’m moving energy out and around too. No room for new to coming in. I find talking to myself in a negative manner can really pull me down. Ah living alone. Blessings.

I used peroxide when I was young and had reddish highlights. I’m starting to use it again thanks to you. I’m also very gray and I’m begging to like it. Thank you. I felt as if you were talking to me today. I have no energy and I know why, there’s a lot of negativity and anger around me something I can’t do nothing about at the moment. But I will try to turn this energy towards me, hope it works. I love what you’ve done with your cottage. I’m also decluttering and you reminded me that it’s best to give away rather than sell. My son has autism Colette and he struggles with sound and as a result he never likes me to put anything on tube in his presence but he never ever complains about your voice and he loves bealtaine Cottage and also he adored jack. Our neighbour now has a dog that looks like jack called Daisy and every time he sees daisy he speaks about Jack the vegan dog...he loves that video...he says can I watch jack the peas ❤ x

I love moving furniture and never wait for help, you can move anything if you want to, if things are a bit heavy or awkward I go and have a cup of tea and have another go. I agree that it makes you feel more energised when you get rid of clutter. I have got rid of 2 awkward items of furniture this weekend and feel better for it. I have three colourings left after that I think I will welcome my grey. I was aurborn haired so was my Irish mum and her hair kind of went strawberry blonde. A lady got on the bus the other day and she had white short spiky punky hair. It looked great! 😊

Hi Colett! I love Patsy´s new bed; and just love your little cottage! I stopped coloring my hair abut 7 years ago and have never regretted it. Mine is white/silver with one spot of salt and pepper on the lower nape of my neck I love mine natural - I believe you will too; it will grow off quicker than you think then you have freed yourself from the endless root touch ups, which feels wonderful. !!!! I really love your rings!!!! I have looked for a beautiful spiral ring that is wide and silver and just love yours. Blessed Be Sweet Sister )O(

My great grandmother had a stove like that. I used to colour my hair copper/reds as I just love that colour but when the grey started coming in I decided to let it so how I dealt with it was to use a cap with holes and pull strands through and bleach. Those strands would blend in with grey and I wouldn't have a line around my head where the grey began. I had very long grey/white hair for years but being so pale and red skinned I bought a natural light blond colour. Did I regret that!! No one compliments the colour anymore LOL. It is still very long. will take a long time to grow out again..sigh... 💞 from Newfoundland

Colette, Marie Kondo writes perfectly about declutter in her books. She explains in it from spiritual aspect what is happening on spiritual level if we own a lot of stuff. In 2015 I did declutter in my appartement I lived at that time and after declutter energy of my life was completely changed. A lot of stuff we do not practicaly use but posses drains our energy always. We need to take care of it etc.

Hello Collette, your an inspiration. I love your cottage. You have done so much good, in many ways. I really like the way you just laugh and the way Patsy makes you laugh. Her little bed is so cute, bless her. I noticed the same with my dogs they love a smaller bed to sleep on. I agree with the getting things out of the house. I have reshuffled for years and donated massively, but getting rid of my old furniture, I didn't miss one bit of it. I prefer space and less clutter. Against popular lore, that is not always the case, but right now it’s the show of the century. SMH…. And yes, the power of shifting your thoughts can change everything. 🌺

I, too, have let my hair go grey, and I am quite content with that choice. I've been decluttering my yard by pulling up/cutting down some voracious vines that are pulling down the branches of some trees. I go out every two weeks or so to do battle, and by the end I am quite grubby and sweaty, but my psyche is energized, though physically I am exhausted (and the little oaks and maples, disencumbered, sway freely). Again, I will say it--you are a constant inspiration!
