What I appreciate about One Spring Night and Something In The Rain is that both are complex thoughtful takes on the process of falling in love between adults. Both are well written, acted and directed. And both also bring in larger themes about Korean patriarchal society. They are message dramas where the message doesn't overshadow the love story. Jung Hae-In plays the male lead in both but the actresses in the leading roles are Han Ji-min and Son Ye-jin. You'd be hard pressed to find two better Korean actresses in their 30's than those two. And the families, especially the one in One Spring Night are so well played. As for the messages in both, they are strong and well thought out statements about modern Korean society's problems. Sexual abuse is one of them. A patriarchal culture where men need to control women is another. But the shining star is the tender developing love stories between the two adults. Stories of love triumphing over all the obstacles. Not fairytale love but real love. Transformative love.

His acting elevates any work he's in. He's that good an actor

The emotion, the tension, the fear and the deep love are palpable. Yet this drama is not only a wonderful love story beautifully told but a big eye opener for on korean society constant judgement and rejection on people with off standard personal situations (divorcé, single parent, unmarried adults and so on) the director An Pan Seok is so good at that. This drama is beautiful 🥰💕

Love Jeong In straight forward personality. Need more to be like her. Bold, dare, and straight forward with her life.

Every drama of jung hae in makes me cry, my heart aches after watching every drama of his, his acting makes me fall for him 😳

Jung hae in is my favourite actor because of the way he portrays and plays his roles ... he has a calm touch to everything he does , but he also can get really loud and intimidating while even staying calm it’s just amazing

I have so much to say about this drama, but in the end, it always leaves me speechless and in awe. The raw vulnerability in every scene -- the intense emotions -- the emotional maturity -- all of these have gotten me incredibly hooked. I think I've re-watched the series over and over in the past few days. To Jung Hae In and Han Ji Min, thank you for being amazing actors. Can't wait to see what happens next. :)

I am going to watch snowdrop just for this man, he never goes wrong when choosing a drama. And he values the character more than the entire show thas why it always turns out great.

This drama gave me a deep feeling of love and emotion, love for oneself,love for a child and respect for parents without sacrificing their true happiness. Their loves story will leave an imprint in one’s heart. Simple, complicated,well delivered and mature.

This scene make my heart happy cause their relationship gettin closer and closer but at the same time feelin sad too cause their feeling begin more complicated 😭

After watching a piece of your mind I thought that best, then I watched something in the rain than I thought that's best , then I watched this masterpiece .. now my decision are changing again.. I just love this man and his drama ... His acting and his smile one of best in kdrama male lade history.. his choosing of kdrama are so perfect.. who needs romcom and triangle when you can do this kind of masterpiece ❤️

Ji ho is such a breath of fresh air. Absolutely adore his character. Loved him in something in the rain and even more in this one now.

Storyline is so relatable and without overacting it touches your heart...Love this drama too much...Highly Recommended

Watching this 4th time in less than a month! Seriously this is so underrated it hurts! i like this much more than SITR. from the story line to the actors, much more depth and dynamics! not sure why is it not THAT popular!

I screamed in high pitch when she called & said that to him because at that moment Jungin finally sort out her feelings after talking to Jiho before this happened (for all who haven't watch the whole ep. Jungin is breaking off things to Giseok but the guy is still clinging to her, she actually breaking up with him for 3 times but the man is so stubborn & can't face her because he's afraid to know the truth that there's no love anymore & before this scene happened Jiho & Jungin were talking in a park and that one was emotional for both of them that I think Jungin come to realizations that made her do this). Jung In admits that she is selfish, mean & confusing but there's a part of her that can't deny that she already developed feelings for Jiho; what I like about Jiho, he's setting his limits, he wants to be selfish for many times but the man is kind that he give Jungin the time to sort her feelings though there are times he thought he's not good enough to Jungin. I can't wait for this week's episode because Jiho & Giseok is going to talk but just like what Jungin said their talk is not yet the right time since she's trying to break things off to Giseok without any attachments anymore that's why she talked to GS dad that she didn't want to marry Giseok but like what Jaein said the two guys are bound to talk. Their first kiss is about to happen this week too idk how will that escalate but all I know that preview both Jungin & Jiho clearly know their feelings for each other that they are now ready to share it to everyone, it's going to be tough but hoping for good development. Also, there was official news today that the script for One Spring Night was already completed which means they will probably finish filming early July since the cast has been filming til weekends. icry I will miss them, time fly by so fast & we're already half way of this series. Hoping the writer learn from her past work and give us a development & resolve that the character deserves.

I really like Han Ji Min's acting as Lee Jung In in one spring night.but Her movie Miss Baek is on another level. No wonder she received so many awards for her movie Ms.Baek.

Been rewatching this series and also SITR for 3 weeks now. No regrets though. All actors are amazing and played their roles naturally. It's really a blessing to find love that feels like home and OSN deficts it perfectly.

Thanks so much for such lovely and beautiful drama. Each song just melts your heart. I like how the director has incorporate elements that touches on society perception on women individuality and I notice a shift of value that's positive towards single family. Please continue the good work.

I started watching this last week, as I was bored, and really didn't plan on finishing it. But the story and acting drew me in, and held me tight. I ended up binge watching the entire thing over a few days. I loved it, as a Non-Korean, I was saddened/frustrated by the social stigmas portrayed in this series, and hope that it is not really like that in real life there. But I was so happy to see the strong female characters, and the little kid was so adorable. Wonderful show. Maybe I'm biased too, as my mother was lucky enough to meet and marry a great man that made us a family. So this story hits very close to home. He was a fantastic step-father, and is missed deeply by us since his passing away.

Maybe I should rewatch this series again for the 3rd time 😭😍

No matter how many times I watch this, the feelings still feel the same. Heartbreak. Happiness. Longing for Love. This series was so touching to me. One of my first k-dramas, as well. If anyone is reading this, what're other Korean dramas are similar to this? Tried to watch Something in the rain but my heart broke too much in that series.

I first knew him through One spring night and then watched Something in the rain! for me OSN was much better, i am surprised many people like SITR more! I feel he is very underrated though, not as popular as other actors who arent as good as him! may be i am biased :D

This was a beautiful scene. Especially when you consider the fact that at this point while asking him not to fall in love with anyone else she is still in a unhappy but committed relationship with another man. The irony 😑
