Love your memories Ray, could listen for hours. Reminds me of when I was a kid and I just kept my moúth shut and my ears open and some of those old WW2 fellas would just let loose. So, for all those saying Tate was 'just a kid'. He was born in 1958 Ray said he got out of nick in late 78/early 79. Tate would have been 20. Ray didnt say he punched him the day he got out of nick. If this was in 1978, Pat Tate would have been 20. As far as I'm aware he had no fighting rep even up until he got slotted. Just a roid head who bullied young kids for no good reason. I can only go on what I've read, but Ray does appear to have a reputation as a tasty fighter with a history of violence. Not even sure if Tate was on the juice at that time, so it's probably no great surprise if Ray did batter him.

On Tate's autopsy it said Tate only had a year to live his liver kidneys were fked also he had a enlarged heart we was ready to go any ways it was from booze drugs and steroids, the other twos autopsy there organs were fine fit healthy men pat must of been taking drugs before he met Tony and Rolph.
