We’ve been receiving some questions about what you should do in such situations. So today, Seki sensei, the 22nd headmaster of Kobudo Asayama Ichiden Ryu with 400 years of history, will introduce the techniques you can use to deal with situations where the opponent grabs your Tsuka handle or Saya sheath. He will be introducing Jujutsu-type techniques you can do with the katana, and also a unique Kata from Musō Shinden Ryu, that he has more than 40 years of experience of. Especially the logic that he explained at the end using a staff was extremely interesting, so please watch this video until the end.
