Pogba was a luxury player in his prime. He need class next to him to do the leg work for his ability to shine. But United tried to use him as the main box to box centre mid. Look at him at Juve and next to Kante at France, he’ll take class team to another level.

Pogba & Giuseppe Rossi were two of the most talented youngsters United had that never had the career they should have done at the club.

I didn't understand why Fergie decided to play defenders as midfielders instead of Pogba. Then he came back and we saw he wouldn't track back and terrible at scanning before receiving. I now wonder what would've been of him if he played under Fergie and submit to his standards.

You only needed to watch peak Pogba to see how much of a talent he was. 6’4 , BBC strength, you couldn’t get the ball off him. He had absolutely everything, and the world cup displayed his excellence. The 2018 World Cup winning team saw him in starting 11 for 6/7 games - He got a goal in the final - Same year as the: if youre not happy, you cannot give your best - same time as his clashes with Jose. Its going to all sound like glazing, but with Kante man marking 86% of the global male population, Pogba can be as creative as he needs to be to push to that World class form. That season Utd. had 29 year old matic and 36 year old carrick as their listed DMs - They had Fellani (30) and 21 year old mctominay. Think he finished 17/18 with 6G 9A and a 2nd place finish that year. Pogba could spearhead attacks quite comfortably, cutting out the middle man to release Mbappe on his runs. Disgustingly good player, regardless of what these football casuals come up with.

Once Paul Scholes was brought out of retirement against City the final straw was broken. He got redemption against them (when he had the blue hair). That performance went all over the world. Slightly misleading as his club football wasn't as good as his international level for many different reasons many of which weren't his fault. I think he suffered a bit for his back ground. Mourinho also didn't appreciate him as a player/ person it was but it was personal between them - SAF had many of the same issues with him - imo he was more of a Real Madrid/ galatico player. His link up play with a CR7 or Zlatan type player would have been unreal. It's a shame we didn't get to see it.
