Oh my gosh people are so mean. First of all, being fat is not bad. Using it as an insult is very detrimental to body positivity. But most importantly, why would they intentionally want to hurt someone with that comment? Especially Dongpyo who is so kind and has done pretty much nothing wrong to the viewers. Haters really just have nothing going on with their lives, do they? SMH
I also loved his message against toxic masculinity! Omg he's so well versed. 100% there is nothing that should define what a man is or a woman is. If you are a man you are a man and that's it, your actions do not have to fit a particular stereotype in order to be a valid man or woman. Besides, that saying that he should be more like a man is so backwards because it implies that being manly should be the desired standard or default for everyone. Trying to be "manly" is often seen as more admirable for both men and women and being feminine is often treated like you're beneath everyone else. Also, like he said his personality isn't something he can control so heavily. Personally, though, I like feminine men. A lot. And I worry about my younger brother too since he spends more time with my mom and I (his sister) and so he is often very feminine as well. I would hate for toxic masculinity to affect him in the future, especially since he's going into highschool. Honestly, Dongpyo is a trailblazer and I stan. ❤️❤️❤️

when he said he's a person with that type of personality and that nobody acts "like a guy" or "like a girl" i knew for a fact i'd adore him sm. i've always hated how people stereotype personalities and interests with genders. we are all different, even our genders cannot put us into a box. guys can like putting on make-up, painting nails, etc. just like girls can. and girls can like boxing, sports, video games, etc. just like guys can. there is no such thing as "acting like a girl/guy" i appreciate him so much for speaking up abt that, what an icon.

My comm3nt doesn't just apply to the two idols mentioned. It applies to everyone I everyday life. Whether online or offline, fat shaming or calling skinny people anorexic (even when the person is healthy and isn't putting their health at risk. ) is wrong and needs to be shamed. Even if you're concerned abt someone's weight being unhealthy, it's absolutely ridiculous and RUDE to approach it in that way. For all you know they could have an ED due to poor body image (either thinking they're "too skinny" or "too podgy") and if not you definitely took a dig at their self esteem. Which could cause them to be anxious, which could eventually lead to anxiety, poor body image or even an ED and depression.
