Tennessee is one of the only places I would rather live than Florida I would guess Tennessee got expensive over the past 10 years but I live in a shithole house and they raised our rent to 1400 last year and some people tell me that’s as cheap as it’s going to get for now and so much drivers from different states are fucking up our roads I kinda wish the people who lived in lockdown states were forced to stay in the state they were calling great just a couple years ago idk how much longer I can stay here

I live in South Florida. We were locked down for about a month and then it was left up to businesses on how they wanted to handle this pandemic. I honestly can't imagine living anywhere else. I got COVID in May and it kicked my butt for 3 weeks. I'm 45 with high blood pressure,low vitamin D and a dad bod. I was unvaxxed, and never hospitalized. By media standards I should be dead, but here I stand. You can't live in fear, because there's no point living life like that.

But ICE is allowed to demand papers and if you don’t produce them, they can arrest you and deport you. Therefore, it is entirety possible that an American citizen leaves the house without an ID and gets arrested and deported by ICE. Yes, heaven forbid you make an effort to keep others from getting sick. Florida isn't free. In fact our county mandated masks in all public places. The business owners and employees were dropping like flies because tourists were coming here because they thought they could do just as they pleased. Business owners were the ones who initiated the mandate. Masks mandated in every restaurant, store, shop. Big signs across the main street: Mask up. We are all in this together. Many restaurants could have eating outside. Others took out tables to socially distance. If you went in a store without a mask, you were politely told you needed to wear a mask to be in the store. If you didn't have a mask, they had ones available. You know what? The people shopping etc. increased. Tourism did, too. Most people don't want to get sick because it's death or at least not fun and not cheap. Did you see all those people out in Colorado wearing masks? Thousands of professions use masks to keep employees safe. Go have surgery by a doctor not wearing a mask. DeSantis does not represent America. He represents the extreme, I don't care if you die, Far-Right.
