Considering the hundreds of millions of dollars that reps and senators get WHILE IN OFFICE, it should be a volunteer position, not a paid salary. If they're allowed to tamper with the market, they don't need $250k a year or whatever it is.

There are legal options that allow you to pay very little in taxes, provided you are losing money and have good tax benefits like a home office, a work truck, etc. You can write off the entire value of a new SUV the year you buy it.
