if you've heard f5000 cars in real life, then you'll know that the video just can't do the sound justice, it's almost soulshaking, absolute heaven

Always thought that the F5000 cars were the coolest from this era. Dont get me wrong I love the sound of a Cosworth V8 as much as anyone but nothing can beat this roar.

E andavano anche molto forte, alla gara dei campioni Race of Champion a Brands Hatch di inizio anno correvano mischiate Formula uno nuove appena presentate e Formula 5000, e le Formula 5000 andavano eccome rispetto alle Formula Uno, una edizione la vinse Peter Gethin con una Chevron Chevrolet

@@413TomaccoRoad well yes its a v8...and some CanAm cars used v8s...but maybe the way the exhaust is fabricated...it sounds a little different than say...a classic CanAm Mclaren m8F or a Lola T70.

This is what happens when you shove a Trans-Am race engine into a formula chassis: it’s mean. It sounds like a predator. And it is an assault on the senses!
